Zero isn't an option:…read more I am writing to your office today to file a formal complaint against Kelly King NMLS # 279210 Regional Manager at your Buda, TX location. Interaction with Kelly King isn't acceptable and he violated my rights as a consumer and disabled veteran. I applied for a VA Home Loan through Oakcreek Homes (Christopher Jaramillo - our Rep) and we were approved for $655k by Cascade in Buda TX. We found land and picked out a beautiful modular home. Our loan had to be sent to the Veterans Administration because it's a VA Home Loan and they only do site builts and modulars. Our builder Oakcreek Homes sent to Kelly King all the documents to order an appraisal (ie: Area Comps, Survey, Floor Plan/blueprint of Home with pics, Bids for construction costs of Septic, Water, Electric) I paid for the water feasibility fee fo $100.00 which should be reimbursed. Kelly King took it upon himself to sit on this Appraisal request 4 weeks and kept telling Oakcreek Homes and myself that it's in the appraiser's hands. After numerous emails and phone calls Oak Creek went above Kelly Kings head to his Boss and then all of a sudden we received the appraisal back and it was $155k lower then expected because the appraiser didn't receive all the documents that were originally sent. Oakcreek Homes has all the email correspondence with Kelly King to prove what was sent and what Kelly King sent to the appraiser and it was only a portion of what he received. Then we filed a Reconsideration of Value (ROV) on February 12, 2024 2 weeks went by and we didn't hear anything at this point it's 8 weeks of wasted time. I called the VA and spoke to Christine, she said that they never received documents for the Reconsideration of Value and that the last information they had was a request for an Appraisal on January 2, 2024 and they never received the results of that. I called Oakcreek Homes and let them know what I found out from the VA, they in turn (Oakcreek Homes) contacted Kelly King and he said that he thought the deal was "Dead" and didn't send any of our paperwork for the ROV request to the appraiser and he lost a $655K loan for Cascade so I guess he doesn't have to follow the Mortgage laws and meet timelines and deadlines. I sent a email notice to Kelly King yesterday and told him that I wanted this transfer of Lenders effective immediately and I will be finishing this loan with your competitor that I am done dealing with him and his lies, that my rights were violated as a consumer and I was not impressed with how he handled this and I don't want this to happen to any other Veteran, I will also be reporting this to the VA Board because this is unethical and bias and he didn't due diligence to secure this loan and didn't do right by me the customer nor did he assist in any way. I never received a response to my email that I sent to Kelly King and the Realtors involved couldn't believe this either they have never run into this, now I am out another appraisal fee and longer wait times to get this loan to closing. She kept working on numbers over and over until we were comfortable with the payment. Lauren was very professional and patient. The second person I worked with was Jackie Doom and she was awesome as well. Jackie answered our phone calls and emails. Their was some down time on our part and little did we know she was working behind the scenes. Thank you Cascade for great customer service
