This review is about Geico the company not this agent. I purchased a policy on 2/27 paid in full for 6 months. I purchased policy online was promoted to call in and spoke with a young lady who reviewed my policy. Online I requested roadside assistance but when CSR reviewed the policy it was not included. I purchased only liability/state required coverage. The young lady mentioned that I would need to have collision/full coverage inorder to have roadside. I explained that online I was not prompted that the coverage I selected would not include roadside. She placed me on hold and said she would speak with a supervisor. When I was taken off hold she said that I would have roadside assistance at the price I was quoted. I repeated what she said to make sure we were on the same page. Fast forward to Thursday, received a email with all my docs when I accessed my policy via the app roadside wasn't list. I call Geico same day and spoke with Sophia who said I would get a email or a call by Friday. That didn't happen and I would really like to have this issue resolved ASAP. read more

Do not give Bill Selby your information. He will sign you up for a policy without you asking for it. I asked for a quote and got an $800 bill in the mail. I don't know how this guy still has a job here. Rob Vahey and the other agent who helped me were able to at least give me the policy I wanted but I had to spend so much time on the phone getting the bad policy Bill signed me up for without my authorization. read more

Absolutely terrible service from this agency. I asked for a simple change to one of my policies in May, and heard nothing back until October. This despite sending five follow up emails to both the customer service rep and the agent. The only reason I ever actually heard anything back is because I sent a message and a complaint directly to Geico. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. As a side note, Geico actually provides great service. Do yourself a favor though - skip the agency and call Geico directly. read more

Called to look into getting a quote and spoke to Will Selby. The quote I received looked odd so I only had questions. Will didn't want to answer questions. He only kept mentioning over and over for me immediately pay the quote so he could get off the phone. If you're going to be a jerk, there is no amount of savings you can offer for anyone to want to deal with you. I can't imagine what kind of train wreck it would be to have a claim with them if this is how they want to start off with new business. read more

This review isn't against this particular agent but GEICO in general. They are the worst car insurance ever. Don't get this insurance and if you have it, get rid of it. They misreport claims and report glass claimed and roadside assistance as "other". This hurts you if you try to secure other insurance. Also even if you decide not to pursue a claim, just because you called about it they post is to your record for 5 years. Just a horrible company to try to deal with. read more

Geico is the worst company ever. Every agent and supervisor says something different. They each promise something different and don't write that information in the chart. So there is no way of proving that the agent or supervisor said what they promised. The agents are very racist and will openly say that to someone. They don't treat the customers with respect especially if they have an accent. read more

I feel dirty after dealing with Geico. When I purchased my home I did what I thought was the responsbile thing. I went online and got multiple quotes. The online forms were grueling. It was page after page of questions about the amount and type of flooring in my home. And how many feet it was to the nearest fire hydrant. I spent a long time getting quotes online. I picked geico (who farms homeowners out to Travelers) because they had the least expensive quote. Then I called. I spent another hour on the phone anwsering the same questions. It was annoying. Why did I type them all in, when they were going to ask again. After all this, they ran my credit score and gave me a very different price. Now, I was still about to purchase my first home. And I didn't want to run my credit score multiple times with multiple companies. So I was annoyed that the "new" price was higher (with no explanation about why). But I didn't want to call another company. And have my credit run again. Which might potentially increase my credit score and impact my mortgage. So I decided to suck it up and get Geico's policy. It wasn't that much more expensive. Two months later they called me to say that they had gone out to examine the house and it was "substantially different" than they expected. And instead of costing them an estimated 342,000 to rebuild. It would cost 600,000. And they needed to DOUBLE my coverage. After answering all of there questions about the house (what percentage of the siding was vinyl, how many floors, were there out buildings, how big was the patio, how many fire extinguishers, etc.) they increased my price once at the time of purchase. Then they called me two months later saying that they were going to cancel my policy in two days if I didn't almost DOUBLE my coverage. What a scam. read more

GEICO is a Warren Buffet company and one might therefore think it is reputable and ethical. IT IS NOT. High pressure salespeople quote details and pressure callers to buy only to change quotes on the fly! I called the next day and after trying to get help, I simply cancelled my policies. It was better than living with these people. Still haven't refunded my money. I predict they will be examined, as WELLS FARGO was, because this pressure to sell, sell sell is coming from the top. I don't even know why I pay so much a month for such bad service!!! I had a flat tire last week on a Tuesday night and I called for road side assistance. They said it would be an hour for someone to come and i was fine with that. Shortly before they were supposed to arrive they called and said they were trying to find someone else to come besides the original whatever couldn't come. Waiting for 4 hours and nothing happened. Complained to them on the phone and they hung up on me. Called back a few times and they answered and hung up before saying anything. I purchased two Geico auto policies last week from Bill Selby. Both binders were supposed to be emailed at the time of purchase, only one was. So I awaited arrival of the second binder in the mail. When it arrived it there was a mistake on it and the binder also neglected to verify that I had purchased full tort. I called Mr. Selby on the phone this afternoon he told me his service person would take care of it and explain everything to me and that he was transferring me to his service person. I was not trasferred to a person but to an automated system that was requiring that I create an electronic account and who knows what else that system was going to put me through or how much of my time that system was happy to waste. I tried to get Mr. Selby on the phone again but I couldn't get through to him and he did not return my call. Eventually after many calls to the alleged Mr. Selby service person a live person finally picked up the phone, that person told me he was transferring me to a service agent, once again I got put through to the same automated system. Apparently once you pay for your GEICO insurance customer service is pretty bad and you can expect nothing from the agent you sold you the insurance. And no one tells you that you are being transferred to an automated system, what is going to happen there and how much of your time is going to be wasted tying to get an automated system to address your three issues. I don't like insurance companies, but Geico Auto Ins has been fair to me. After 30 years of hardly any claims, we switched to Geico, then had 2 cars "totaled" (one flood, one tree fall) in about 12 months. They paid without question and DID NOT RAISE MY RATES. They also have a few GOOD body shops on their list of approved, so you are not forced to go to some crapper (unlike AAA Keystone when I had it) I do not know how bad the rate creep has been since I signed, though. Afraid to look around since my wife had some citations recently, including rear-ending an emergency vehicle. read more
