I can't say enough about how great Kenneth was as our realtor. I was not the one purchasing, but I…read morewas helping my boyfriend who was looking for his first home to buy in Rockville. Kenneth was INCREDIBLY patient. We went to look at so many properties together, almost every week for 2 months, and we really took our time--and Kenneth never rushed us and was super encouraging. My boyfriend went for 2 properties before he finally got one (third time's a charm right?). This covid market is incredibly hard on buyers during this time, with the best looking properties receiving 10+ offers. Kenneth was very spot on in estimating how much a place would go for, and what it would take to try and beat the other offers--the only reason my boyfriend lost to one, for example, was because my boyfriend just wasn't willing to go any higher, but we found out Kenneth was right (of course) on what it would've taken to win. Kenneth is incredibly responsive and so easy to talk to. We are extreme night owls, and my boyfriend hates checking his email. Kenneth is so easy to reach (we communicated via messenger), and so responsive. And even late at night at 2 AM, my boyfriend felt awful messaging him, but Kenneth was truly okay with it and was still awake, and still responded. I always ask a lot of questions, but my boyfriend asks a LOT of questions (sorry bf haha), but Kenneth has always been able to answer all the questions, or looked into it if he didn't know the answer. One VERY valuable knowledge Kenneth possesses (aside from his spot on realtor instincts) is he's familiar with renovations and can give you a rough estimate of how much a renovation for, say, a bathroom, would be. His family apparently works in that field, so it was pretty neat and informative to ask him to estimate how much a kitchen renovation would cost (while looking at the sad sad kitchen), so we can take that cost into consideration. This was also valuable where Kenneth could advise what to renovate to ensure value add, if we were interested in the property. Last, Kenneth is just so generous and nice. One time after seeing 4 houses, I asked him later that night how the rest of his day went, and he said that he was so tired, he fell asleep at a home depot parking lot (which I found hilarious). But, I found out later that he was at the home depot to buy materials to help his client (seller) polish her "as is" property, and without her knowing :). He's a great person to work with--you won't regret it! Thanks for everything, Kenneth!

She helped me purchase my home in Arlington, VA and I am very grateful for everything she did. What I appreciate most about Philippa is her honesty. She is a direct person and tells you exactly what she thinks, even sometimes when it's not what you want to hear. I respect this a lot because buying a house is a big financial decision and I don't need someone who just agrees with me on everything. I need someone who understands the market and can give me real advice. She is great with the numbers and knowing property values. She knows Arlington real estate market very well and was able to explain why certain homes were priced correctly and others were not... I also look at real estate from investment perspective, so this was very important for me. She always had information prepared and never made me feel pressured to buy something. The entire process from searching for homes, negotiating the offer, inspection, and closing went very smoothly. She was always available for questions and made sure everything was handled properly. I felt very comfortable trusting her with my important purchase. Since buying my house I have already recommended Philippa to some friends and people I know. I don't give recommendations easily because my own reputation is also important to me. But with Philippa I know they will be in good hands. I highly recommend Philippa Main to anyone buying or selling a house in Arlington or Northern Virginia. She is a straight shooter, experienced and cares about doing the right thing for her clients. It would be impossible to describe how POSITIVE of an experience it was to work with Laura!…read moreEverything went soooooo smoothly from start to finish and Laura was that driver for us! She always made us feel like her #1 priority even though we knew she was busy with other clients: she made time for us on-a-dime, was always present, on-time or early, and was incredible good at scheduling around all of our busy schedules. Laura is an AMAZING communicator: was quick and responsive and always provided us with thorough details and explanations. Laura provided us (first-time home buyers) with an incredible wealth of knowledge and advice when we requested and had great insights. She also has an extensive personal network that helped us start our lender search, find a day-of home inspector, and contractors to help us get started on our new-home projects. She understood our home buying strategy, and helped us get our dream house on our FIRST offer! Her advice and guidance was instrumental in us landing the house we had our hearts set on! We will work with Laura again for any future home purchase. I would recommend Laura to any and EVERYONE!

Laura was recommended to us as a top agent in the DMV area with impressive transaction volume each year. Although we identified multiple agents through our search, we immediately decided to work with Laura after our initial video call because we were impressed by her knowledge of the local housing market and all aspects of real estate transaction. We are so grateful that we did! We were buying a condo in a very competitive area. Every time when we made an offer, we had a competing offer and had to act very quickly to make our offer more competitive. Laura worked around the clock to prepare the comparative market analysis, tour the units with us, crafted and advised us on compelling offer terms and negotiated with the seller agents. Our closing had some extra complexities due to the condo building's financing approval being expired. Laura skillfully helped us navigate this issue. She proactively included relevant language in our offer to protect us from such financing issue before we even knew there was an issue with the condo building. After we discovered the issue, Laura was in constant communication with the seller's agent, condo building and mortgage broker to speedily resolve the issue and ensure we could close on time within 3 weeks. Laura's price prediction and recommendations were spot on when we submitted our offer. She recommended us to adjust our offer to a certain price to increase our chance of sealing the deal at our offer price (instead of activating the price escalation clause and resulting in us paying a higher price). We were able to be the winning offer because of Laura's excellent communication skills and expert advice. We followed Laura's recommendation and did not have to pay more than our offer price for the condo. The appraisal ended up being higher than our purchase price. We are grateful that Laura helped us secure our dream home at a great price. Laura was extremely responsive and patient. We had a lot of questions as first-time home buyers. Laura patiently answered all of our questions at any time of the day. Despite her busy schedule, she accommodated our challenging schedules and requests under short notice every single time, which enabled us to close our home with great success. We could not have asked for a better realtor to share this home purchase journey with. Thank you Laura for being an outstanding, caring and dedicated realtor!

From the very beginning, Megan and her team (Jenny Moore) demonstrated professionalism, market expertise, and a genuine commitment to understanding our goals. Thanks to her strategic approach and strong network, we received five competitive offers in a short period of time. What truly set Megan apart, though, was her ability to help us navigate those offers thoughtfully--not just focusing on price, but on finding the right buyer. It was very important to our family that the home not be sold to a developer who would tear it down, and Megan respected and prioritized that throughout the process. In the end, she helped us secure a buyer who aligned with our wishes while still delivering an excellent outcome financially. Her communication was clear, her guidance was steady, and she made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well-managed. The house was on the market in January and we had two snow storms that Megan and Jenny were able to take care of getting the snow on the driveway shuffled in time for the open house. HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.
