We paid $385 for a Christmas Vintage Truck mini session. I received and downloaded the 5 photos…read moreincluded in the package and the lighting of the photos is horrible. It was a sunny bright day on the day of our photo shoot and the photographer did not account for this in her planning and executing of the session. In the pictures you can see the sun hitting all of our faces on one side and the quality is very poor. You can also see the yellow and orange fall foliage on the trees in the background...so while we are sitting on a nicely decorated Christmas truck, it is clearly fall in the background. When I expressed these concerns Krys said she could re-edit the images. She sent me a sample re-edited image which still had the horrible lighting and the fall colors. She also did not edit the vintage truck name "Joe's Fix-it Goshen NY" off the truck like she was supposed to. Her reply to all my concerns when we went back and forth via email was "every session is unique by location, setting, lighting and situation but your portrait gallery is in line with my work and other sessions from that day. I can't control Mother Nature (lighting, fall foliage, etc.). I think your gallery turned out absolutely beautiful and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season." The bottom line is this was not worth $385 and yes it is a photographers job to get the lighting right on the pictures they take. Pretty sure that is taught in photography 101. She took beautiful engagement photos for us, and went out of her way to travel to us for them. She was very responsive to all of our emails and questions, provided us with a clear and concise contract, and did everything we asked. Our wedding photos are gorgeous, she has a great eye for the work she does. She took beautiful composed shots of the wedding party and our families, but her best work was done with candid shots of us, our family, and our guests. The Rotary Club of Moraga just completed our 18th Nite at the Races event this past weekend…read more Supporting both a Moraga School Safety project and a children's library in the Congo this event was our most successful ever. We raised over $30 thousand for Moraga Schools and $14 thousand for the library. DJ RyanO was our emcee and auctioneer for the evening. His creativity and energy put our event over the top. His suggestions added thousands of dollars to our auction revenue. His energy kept the crowd engaged and donating! His support both before and during the event made all the difference! From the initial consultation to the big day, he was professional, organized, and so much fun to work with! Ryan listened and took the time to understand our music preferences and created a playlist that perfectly captured the vibe we wanted. He kept our guests on their feet all night long! What mattered most to me was that the evening flowed effortlessly--and thanks to Ryan's experience and professionalism, it absolutely did. A few things didn't go exactly as planned, but Ryan is so smooth that no one even noticed. Thanks to him, it felt flawless! We got great photographs and had a good time getting them (not easy in my family.) Digital and print photos arrived promptly and hang in my home now. They are artful, beautiful and memorable.

She was prompt and did her job as she said she would in terms of showing up for a meeting, being at the wedding on time and then getting us the cd of the wedding. However, the quality of the photos she took was mediocre and to a large measure unprofessional and once we made our selections for prints it took her 5 months to get us the photos. We patiently waiting and emailed (infrequently) to find out the status and she offered no explanation of any kind--just asking us to continue to be patient. When we finally received the photos they were of a quality that was worse than what my husband had printed out from the cd on our home printer. She did not even send one extra print to thank us for our patience and the quality was so poor that we will not use them for anything. With all the choices out there, I recommend trusting your important day to someone else.

She used a fun monkey toy on her camera to keep my easily distracted children focused and smiling throughout the session. I was worried about getting a good picture, but the biggest problem now is having to narrow down the many that I love! My husband who is not easily impressed was blown away by the beautiful slideshow she created for us and I love how she was able to capture amazing lighting both inside and outdoors. My oldest still talks about playing with Laura in the yellow flowers and we cannot wait to work with her again!
