Her work is absolutely amazing, and you can tell she loves what she does. Everyone I shared these photos with were amazed at how beautiful the photos came out and needless to say my husband was very happy. A few months after I did another boudoir session with Erin for one of her promotional projects which I could not turn down. These sessions are just so fun an empowering, I was so touched she asked me to be a part of this and it definitely won't be the last time I do it either! My wedding was the following year and of course I needed to ask Erin to be our photographer. Erin & Ben did our engagement session that we used for our invites, and I will cherish this forever. Erin & Ben make a great team and really capture the moment. Our Wedding as a bit hectic and Erin & Ben were great at handling the chaos and my annoying family very well. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results. As much as we wanted to soak in every moment, our wedding day went by so quickly since we were having a blast. I really needed these photographs to remind me of all the amazing moments of the day. We literally spent hours going through each picture and reminiscing on everything that took place. My husband and I both had family and friends visiting from afar, and it pleases us highly that practically everyone at the wedding is captured in our pictures. MY husband and I are by no means people who love to be the center of attention or in front of the camera. Cynthia was a rockstar and told us how to pose - it paid off! The pics were lovely. She also knew all the best locations on site what would provide breath taking backgrounds. They set up a photo booth in the basement of the barn which was such a blast. Their props were hysterical and you were given a vintage looking picture as a keepsake. Their team steers clear of all of the cheesy photos are hoping they will not make you take. We paid $385 for a Christmas Vintage Truck mini session. I received and downloaded the 5 photos…read moreincluded in the package and the lighting of the photos is horrible. It was a sunny bright day on the day of our photo shoot and the photographer did not account for this in her planning and executing of the session. In the pictures you can see the sun hitting all of our faces on one side and the quality is very poor. You can also see the yellow and orange fall foliage on the trees in the background...so while we are sitting on a nicely decorated Christmas truck, it is clearly fall in the background. When I expressed these concerns Krys said she could re-edit the images. She sent me a sample re-edited image which still had the horrible lighting and the fall colors. She also did not edit the vintage truck name "Joe's Fix-it Goshen NY" off the truck like she was supposed to. Her reply to all my concerns when we went back and forth via email was "every session is unique by location, setting, lighting and situation but your portrait gallery is in line with my work and other sessions from that day. I can't control Mother Nature (lighting, fall foliage, etc.). I think your gallery turned out absolutely beautiful and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season." The bottom line is this was not worth $385 and yes it is a photographers job to get the lighting right on the pictures they take. Pretty sure that is taught in photography 101. Asked for a bottle, I thought to keep him full, no he was hungry and she was feeding him. UMMM HELLO I'M THE MOM. Didn't ask me what my preference for photos was, at one point she had him on a small highchair for a photo with no one close by- extremely unsafe. Lots of naked photos, I wasn't a fan of. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Seems very cold. Not someone I thought worked with families on the regular.
