Ion did engagement photos first so he could get to know the couple and their style.. The photos were great. The day of the wedding, Ion and his assistant showed up right on time and ready to go. His photographs of this special day were absolutely amazing! Ion didn't miss a moment, and yet he was very unobtrusive and professional. Fast forward to 2017, and my son and daughter in law were getting married. They were so impressed with Ion that they too chose him to document their special day. And had the same outstanding results. These two couples have very different styles, yet Ion captured the essence of both of them perfectly. In 2018, the grandchildren started coming, and there was no one else we wanted to take our yearly family photos. He is extremely patient with the grandchildren, (5- all 3 years old and under) and manages to get wonderful shots and get the 12 of us to look at the camera at the same time. No easy feat! Her work is absolutely amazing, and you can tell she loves what she does. Everyone I shared these photos with were amazed at how beautiful the photos came out and needless to say my husband was very happy. A few months after I did another boudoir session with Erin for one of her promotional projects which I could not turn down. These sessions are just so fun an empowering, I was so touched she asked me to be a part of this and it definitely won't be the last time I do it either! My wedding was the following year and of course I needed to ask Erin to be our photographer. Erin & Ben did our engagement session that we used for our invites, and I will cherish this forever. In addition to the modern digital cameras, they used this lovely very old school camera that produced photos that went really well with the Art Deco theme of our wedding. Our biggest concern with the photography for our wedding was that it would all be indoors, this lacking the sunlight that helps for outdoor photography. Amaranth did a fantastic job with the photos, using the space and unique lighting circumstances. We happily recommend them to any of our friends that are looking. You'll look at your photos over and over again, it's one of the things that you want to make sure it's done well. Make sure they are in your short list.

Not only did it take over a YEAR for my photo album and Video, but we received my wedding video on a flash drive! We did not get a dvd of my wedding when we were promised two DVDs as it says in our contract. When I finally watched it on my laptop the whole beginning of the wedding ceremony with everyone walking down the aisle was cut and it started with my dad giving me away! I was so upset. We also got a big print out to hang on the wall and my husbands hand was gray for some weird reason. He got another one printed claiming if I want extra it will be $90 a print that he has to go all the way to LI to this 'Pro printer guy'. Well guess what? He forgot the receipt in the bag and he got it done at COSTCO for $25!!! Do not waste your time and money on this guy he is crazy and I noticed he writes his own reviews online. These are memories that cannot be recorded again and he refuses to give back some money so now I have to go through small claims.
