But when you live in Hillbilly, West Midlands, "getting" a Costa or a Starbucks is a big achievement -- soon, we think, other great businesses will start flocking in, a la Gillian, and grace our small urban development with fantastic things to buy, eat, do and wear, in no particular order. There is one Costa Coffee in Tamworth, but it is in the centre of town, where it's hard to park, and where there aren't really any decent shops, just a run down shopping centre and a 60s-style flower hall. Sad and sweet, and not the scene I need for my morning mochafrappawhappy. The new Costa Coffee in Ventura Park is sufficiently slick and polished, and brand, spanking new. There's ample parking right outside, or in the nearby larger car park, and plenty of tables and chairs out in the patio area. It's nice and clean inside, and the staff are all helpful, and like every other Costa, it's a great place to grab a spot of caffeine while shopping, or a sandwich for lunch. Reasonable prices, and dependable, nationwide selection.

We have refitted with some nostalgic pieces and more modern items so there really is something for everyone. Open 7 days a week. They serve the normal range of breakfast butties, tea, coffee etc,. in the mornings at a really reasonable price, and at lunches have a massive choice. They have the usual salads, wraps and sandwiches, but have also started dabbling in chinese dishes which is long overdue (nowhere else in the town centre does a Chinese lunch buffet as far as I am aware!). They deliver to your door if you work in the town cenre, you can pre-order, and they are always laughing and smiling - what more could you want? Oh and they are also of the attitude that they want to gear their business around what the customer wants so they welcome honest feedback and want suggestions of what they are missing on the menu. Quality is of utmost importance to Donna and I have known her throw whole cakes away that she has baked because she thinks they are not 'quite' to standard - even though they have seemed fine to me. All the dishes are prepared by hand by Donna or her small team. The only one little negative I guess is its quite small so you may be pushed to find a seat at busy times, especially outside as there are only a couple of tables. a nice little place, always very busy. decor isnt upto…read moremuch,but you dont go for that. food is freshly cooked to order, and they seem to have a lot of regulars. they reward these with a card to collect stamps on, to arn a free drink. seating upstairs and downstairs, and now outside, available under cover.
