We used Dalton & Finegold as our closing lawyers for our home purchase this past winter and we…read morecouldn't be happier with the service we received. We were first time homebuyers, spending just about everything we had on this house and had no idea what we were doing. We didn't know any lawyers or how to find one. Luckily, Dalton & Finegold were on a list of law firms that worked on closings with our lender. I emailed three of them, all reputable sounding and such. Dalton & Finegold was the only one that responded, and within an hour of my email going out. I didn't get a response from a secretary either, Barry Finegold emailed me to let me know that Bill Dalton would be in contact shortly as he handled the closings. From there, it was smooth sailing. Their staff worked with the lender with no issues and were available for any question I had no matter how dumb I thought it sounded. Day of closing, we met Bill Dalton and he was incredibly nice, didn't talk down to us, and had the patience of a saint. Seeing as we are getting married later this year, he offered to help us update the deed to the house for no charge (other than a govt fee). Truly, we'll turn to Dalton & Finegold for any applicable legal needs in the future and point all our friends in the same direction.
