Stacy arrived on time, had a fabulous personality and most important to me is that he was a great driver. I have had many bad experiences with taxi and livery services where I white knuckled the whole trip. Watching on my map as he turned multiple times in the opposite direction of my destination made me a little concerned for safely arriving at my destination, turns out he was just trying to make the drive as long as possible. The WORST $90 I've ever spent. Savannah airport pickup. Woman traveling alone. Driver (van 126) went the longest way possible to bump the fare (added 5 miles ((+$15)) to what should have been a 20 minute drive by two different routes. He claimed traffic was bad and had to take the "back roads" (but his iPad was broken so he didn't have a map to check for travel delays.) MY map said no traffic delays. He reprogrammed the meter while we were driving, bumping the running cost up a few dollars. 40 minutes later UPON ARRIVAL he informed me that he could only accept cash (the van clearly stated that all cards were accepted). He tried to convince me TO GET BACK IN THE VAN to drive with him to an atm of his choice despite the fact that there was an atm right across the street. (declined and walked over to it) When I got back from the atm he had increased the amount on the meter by $5 more dollars. I feel confident in saying that if I had gone to the atm he had wanted me to go to my card numbers would be stolen and my bank account would have been cleaned out shortly after (if we had even gone to an atm). Who tries to coerce a person to get BACK in a taxi? AND he was pissed that I didn't tip him. NEVER AGAIN.

We were told a price of $28 to get to the airport with an additional fee for a 2nd passenger. seemed reasonable. Upon arriving at the airport, this driver told us the fare was $50. We were immediately shocked and appalled by the significant upcharge and ask where that price came from. The driver told us, "that is the price!". We told him what we were told by our bellman which is the same price listed on the door of the cab. The driver then said, "I had to leave the line at the airport to come pick you up so it's like two trips." We explained that what he did prior to picking us up had nothing to do with us. He then asked us, "who negotiated your price?" Negotiation??? The price is listed on the door of the cab! He then said, "just give me $40" Again, the math didn't add up. Finally, after yelling back and forth in the middle of the drop off lane he said, "just get out. I have already lost my place in line. I will get your bags!" We told him we weren't seeking a free ride, we just didn't want to be extorted for this one.
