The lady working at the register was just lovely. She loved her job, was very happy and loved the store too. I felt welcomed right away. The store was the nicest well put together store I've ever been to. Everything was facing the same way, everything was nicely displayed and they had literally everything you could ever want. High end brands to a few junk foods items. The prepared foods were DELICIOUS. The bow-tie pasta was so good I took a picture of the label and what to see if I can order more. The orzo pasta salad was my husband's favorite orzo he's ever had. He is the pickiest eater I've ever known it's been 3 days and we are still talking about those pastas. This is a year-round Farmer's Market. While the produce selection is not large, there are some unique items that I certainly did not expect to find. One is Satsumaimo  (Japanese Sweet Potato). Grown primarily in Kyushu, Japan, fans of this variety search far and wide trying to locate a source. It is the (sweet potato) "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow! There are also many items to check-out from local artists & crafters. If you are passing through Hoquiam on your way to Ocean Shores or the temperate rain forests of the Olympic Peninsula, be sure to stop here for sweet treats and unique items!

It is located in the parking lot for the Grays Harbor Farmer's Market (a separate business entirely). It is mostly covered by tents and protected from the Harbor's wet weather which makes it easy to shop with no hassle parking. There's a nice variety of of both fruit and vegetables, much of it at prices that can't be beat anywhere else on the harbor. Some items are local, such as honey, blueberries and kale from Shaffner Farms. Much of the rest is WA grown such as Walla Walla sweets, apples and cherries (when in season). Produce changes seasonally which is what you get from local growers. Not everything is organic or GMO free so just ask if that's important to you. Happy (produce) hunting!

Their produce is so fresh and as local as they can get it! Oh and they have fresh big bags of basil and mint for like $2! Which is great because I just keep killing the ones I grow somehow. I've never gotten sick from eating their produce, as I do from some of the store's produce, like Safeway's apples. One thing to remember - bring your own bag/box. Sometimes they have extra boxes. And the other thing is - if you're only pick up a couple of things for tonight's dinner, bring cash! You can't use your debit/credit card unless it's over $5, which my orders usually are! They also, usually, have some past-its-prime produce that's heavily discounted! These are great buys to put in smoothies or eat within a day or so. I once got a personal-sized watermelon for $0.50 from that area and it was fabulous! Right now they have eggplants and melons in this area. It changes all the time! This is a great place to go for some beef sticks, they have many different kinds. All locally made. Most just $1.75 and super tasty!!! The cream of their crop (in my opinion) is their housemade Pico de Gallo and Guacamole! You can thank me later for that tip!! Lots of times I go there and they are all sold out of these gems. She was also the cashier when I went to check out and was so rushed, and rude then as well. I'm so disappointed. I understand that people go through things in life, and hoping that she is OK.... However, when you work retail and customer service, you're one and only job is to help the customers and be friendly. I am hoping and praying this is the one and only time I experience this.
