I was "gifted" the opportunity to see this show just the other day…read more My first show since becoming a Las Vegas resident. Damned if we didn't get Front Row & Center seating!! It's in the V Theater. Located in the Miracle Mall at Planet Hollywood. Just an fyi, even with what looks like a lot of construction in that general vicinity, getting in and out was a cinch. And this was a 5:30 showing. I was blown away. This was a great show. And a new(er) cast from what I understand. The 5 players had a great chemistry, and it poured into the audience. I'm just glad they didn't come to drag me up on stage like some. (be warned). One act I thought was funny as hell. Four players are doing all of the background music with one who is seated as the solo vocalist. After a minute into the song an easel backed sign slides onto the stage. "This song is heard entirely in English" it says. I laughed, wtf? After a bit, one of the four replaces a stick on sign that read as "English" replaced it with "French". So the vocalist then proceeds. Beautiful. Then the stick on gets changed to Korean, then Japanese, and closes out the song in "Pig Latin". The whole place busted out laughing, as did the cast. They genuinely looked like they had fun. As they should. If this was a new cast, it could only get better I'd assume. So if you find yourself needing an "affordable" (easy for me to say) show of caliber but without the crowd of an A-List Las Vegas act. Toxic Audio should make your short list. 4 stars? This show like the Blue Man Group is hard to describe to someone. Once you see it and hear it ... you will go WOW !!! I saw their show a couple of years ago at the Luxor and they have just gotten better and better. The show has a great deal of humor and beautiful music. Before they bring the audience to their feet for a standing ovation with their final number "Turn the Beat Around," they perform "Stand By Me" In Stand By Me - they move out into the audience and just let their voices blend in beautiful harmony. It is breathtaking..... a super exerience. Their last number by The Miami Sound Machine features their percussion vocalist and when the song Lyrics get to " love to hear percussion" he does a terrific job ending with a back flip.. You have to see this group to believe the sounds you are hearing ... Amazing .......... and totally worth the price of admission.

Very untruthful about the prospects of having a lucrative career…read more I knew the deal before I went to the group "interview". The "partners" tell you how they will help you get clients. They tell you that the leads are from cards mailed out to people who return the cards for more info. They also tell you that you will get business from people calling in. The long, smoke and mirrors story in brief: They lure you in with stories of wealth and happiness. You think that this will be a great career with lots of caring (you find out later that is incorrect) individuals supporting you. You ask questions and they tell you lies about how great the biz is. You spend about $500 and 5 weeks learning the biz. You get paid nothing during this time. First they tell you to get fingerprinted at a cost of $60. Then you take an online course at a cost of $50. Next is the state exam at a cost of $61 (if you pass. They tell you not to worry if you don't pass the first time...you can take it over and over again). Then the state license fee of $220. Don't forget you need business cards ($40). After spending all the money you have (most of the people being unemployed) you have to wait for the next "boot camp" to start so you can learn the biz. After all that you think to yourself "I did it! I am a licensed agent and have a wonderful career journey I am about to embark on." Next though is when the reality hits: They ask you to bring friends and family into the office to "see where you work". (This is mainly for the spouses who think you have been having an affair for weeks...after all you are leaving for "work" every day but receive no paycheck.) This is also so you can sell life insurance to your friends and family to get some money coming in. Then they give you the leads (remember the cards that are mailed in looking for insurance). The leads turn out to be "non-responders" to these mailed cards. The cards that do get actually returned are leads for management only. You also get leads in the form of phone numbers of people that called looking for the cheapest life insurance out there...Colonial Penn. These people hardly have two nickels to rub together. And the funniest part about those leads....these are people that called 4 months ago to Colonial Penn. When you call them they are like "Huh? I called like 4 months ago. I already got insurance from another company" They then tell you to just go knock on doors to find business. Hahaha. Then they tell you that during your first three months you MUST work 6 days per week and 12 hours a day to call call call and knock knock knock in order to be considered as a permanent agent. I did this for a couple weeks and got ZERO business. $500 wasted and 7 weeks of my life without making any money at all. Want to work part-time while in training to get by on ZERO income? No way...you have to be in the office for 6 days 12 hours per day. Every week they herd in 40-60 people on these fake interviews. You don't see any agents that have been there very long because it is just a revolving door of misery. What a great business model for the management: Lure in people with dreams of hitting it rich. They quit after a few weeks and signing up their friends and relatives. The management now become those people's agents and rake in the commissions...After all you don't get the commission because you don't work for them any longer. What a joke! If you find yourself in front of the office on Riley Street hoping for a new career turn around and run like you are being chased by a hungry Lion.

All of the people below…read morethat say how much the money situation isn't great and neither are the leads... are the people who aren't meant for this business. If you're meant for this business, you make money your first week in the field. Yes, you don't get paid while getting your license, just like every other company that you need to get a license to work for. Also, the leads... yes, there are some bad ones. But there are some great ones. There is not one company in the world that has every single lead as a for sure sale. We do have to WORK to make our appointments and our sales. It's a commission based job, nothing will be handed to you. This is the best company I have ever worked for and it changed my life, financially and in so many other ways. I was promoted to management just after 8 months of being an agent and no... we don't get better leads than the agents. We're all equal and we all have to WORK to make our money. If you want your life to be changed.... if you want to never have to worry about money in the future... if you want to be successful... come for an interview at Bankers Life!!
