Took mini cooper to a foreign car shop. Problem starting. New battery which they did not marry to…read morecar. Told me I needed alarm system module $1500. I passed and took to empire for replacement of module. They did the work as I asked but still had issues. Another new battery installed.. Issue still there...you need wire harness someone cut up old one- ok.. Months went by very little communication even after leaving phone messages. I would drive there on my day off several times during these months. I kept hearing Friday your car will be ready..this happened about 3 to 4 times. Finally after wiring Harness, battery install car still no start. You need a module by the battery..ok do it I need the car..installed still no start. I know he was working alone and these issues are not easy to repair. After 4 to 5 months of this we handed the title over to Brian. Many car stay they for very long periods of time so be careful using this shop.

I walked into B & B thinking I would get service from the same people from years ago, Today I found that the original people closed shop and left. Although left with blank wondering what to do next, The new owner Mike asked me what I needed done, and he got right to work helping me with my vehicle. Not only did I leave his shop with what I needed, but also with some car knowledge. If you need help I advise you go to mike! So appreciative for him..

In the past, appointment times meant very little when I visited this Pep Boys, so I was somewhat prepared to wait for longer than necessary. I was taking advantage of a fleet service installation, so choices are limited. However, today, I was checked in promptly and professionally; my car was quickly taken back to the shop; I received text communication along the way; at 10:26 AM, my car was ready. Checkout was straightforward; I received thorough documentation, and I was on my way out for a late breakfast. Kudos to this Pep Boys for improvements that have been made to customer service!

I brought my car in because the AC was blowing hot air and paid both a $59.99 AC/electrical…read morediagnostic fee and an additional $9.99 AC system evaluation/package fee to find and fix the issue. After paying over $500 total for diagnostics, tires, alignment, and an AC relay replacement, I picked up the vehicle only to find the AC was still blowing hot air exactly as before. The explanation I received was that they "did not check if the AC was working" after replacing the relay. That is unacceptable for an AC repair diagnosis. Verifying whether the repair actually fixed the issue should be the most basic part of the service process, especially after charging diagnostic fees specifically for the AC problem. To make matters worse, the only resolution offered was that they would "not charge to remove the Freon" if I brought the car back again for additional repairs. In other words, I paid for a repair that did not solve the problem, and now I am expected to spend more time and potentially more money because the repair was never properly verified before returning the vehicle to me. Very disappointed with the lack of quality control, accountability, and customer service. I would not trust an AC diagnostic or repair here again.
