All I needed was some clean gravel to refresh my 8 year old driveway. The gravel delivered was "dirty" as it was filled with powder and now when it rains I have a muddy messy driveway for days. To top that off they did a horrible job of leveling it. I dont recommend this company which is sad because when it was a locally owned family company it was top notch. I used them in 2009 with no issue, so yes I am a repeat customer.

I was…read moretold by Johnny that they have "high quality screened topsoil" I said okay, how much is it. $234 for 10 yards. I paid $260 for trash fill dirt. Well, I got clods of harden dirt rocks, clay and some soil. It won't grow crap. I won't put it in my flower beds, or on my lawn, but I habe to find a place to get rid of it. I was asked if I'd like a Supervisor to come look at the dirt and I said yes. Johnny came and told me it was wet, but the rocks aren't wet. These are super hard rocks of dirt.. if it's screened topsoil it should not have all this in it. He said " this is what we put on Golf Courses" I call bull! I use to do business with Chilcutt's because the old owner was a Fireman, and we were on the same Search and Rescue team, but apparently the new owner doesn't care that he is ruining the Chilcutt name by providing crappy materials. I have 130 houses to build and will not have a load of dirt placed in the development by a Chilcutt truck. The driver said they would make it right, because they want happy customers, he's only been with them 5 months, so guess he didn't know they don't want happy customers.
