This work was for my mother's house in Waco, I am in California. We had this work done in February of this year.....and YES, seven months later I finally got around to writing this review! IMO this should tell you how I feel about their work! Darren was the onsite rep and was very responsive and kept me updated as the work progressed. Anyone who has worked with contractors understands that this can sometimes be challenging and doing so long-distance even more so. After shopping around I found their pricing to be reasonable and Darren was GREAT! We also needed some gutter work done and though Honey's didn't offer this service, Darren brought in someone else and served as my PM and things worked out perfectly! I highly recommend this company for any of your roofing needs!

I would recommend not using this company after my recent experience…read more I contacted Honey's Roofing to re-attach 3 adjacent ridge shingles that had blown off my roof on a very windy day. The person who showed up the next day told me I also needed sealant around the shingles surrounding my vents and turbines, which in itself was not necessary. He wanted $450 for the job, which I told him was way too much---so he lowered his estimate to $300, which I again said was too much. He then lowered his estimate to $200 cash. I reluctantly agreed and the work was performed. Whether or not the work was performed properly is not readily known, since I don't get up on the roof. Be wary of this company. Their representative was about unethical as you can get.

His knowledge of the roof-insurance process was incredible. I did not even know what I didn't know until he told me. Absolutely amazing young man. Thank you Brandon! Our roof is now done and I plan on using his other services to fix our doors (warm air leaks in), our mailbox, my bathtub, put in cupboards, as well as many other small projects. I called Cody the morning after I realized I lost a large patch of shingles, and he was on my roof the next day assessing the damage. To Whom It May Concern:…read more This is a forewarning if you are looking to replace and/or repair a roof, fencing, gutters, or any contracting job in the McLennan County area. We hired JAC Roofing and Exteriors in Hewitt to replace our roof that was damaged by hail. They came recommended by my insurance company representative. We have several reasons as to why we would never allow them to enter onto our property again, nor would we recommend them to our worst enemy. The last item we requested they fix is the disconnected vent to our gas water heater that was left disconnected along with ceiling damage by them. We contacted JAC and sent photos notifying them of the damaged ceiling and disconnected vent - no response from JAC which is what we've learned to expect from them. We don't want to write a book but the many lies they told were so compounded it was ridiculous and would take far too long to list them all. If they won't give you an itemized bid up front, run! All work is done utilizing outside contractors with little or no supervision by JAC, they only act in the capacity of middlemen, they do nothing hands on. (I believed I was hiring a roofer, not someone who would hire a different roofer of their choosing and at my expense) I would very strongly suggest that if you are considering hiring this crew who use Colorado, not Texas paperwork, please contact the following agencies for your personal safety: Texas State Insurance Commissioner's Complaints, The Roofing Licensing Enforcement Center, (they are not licensed), the RCAT - Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (they are not a member), the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce, Waco Chamber of Commerce, BBB and Yelp. There are several other and I'm sure more reputable roofing companies out there. I would highly recommend you do your homework, contact all available agencies, and ask for local recommendations prior to hiring any one of them. They should have sent someone out to the repair the condition in which they left our home - we had to take care of it ourselves, on top of all other headaches they provided us.
