Looking for a unique, one-of-a-kind gift that is made with love?…read more I recently ordered a baby blanket from Unknotted By Monica for a very good friend of mine who is expecting a baby boy with his beautiful wife. He is from the South Sudan and I really wanted to get a unique gift for him and his wife that would reflect his heritage and his family's culture. Monica was able to make me a custom and oh-so-soft baby blanket reflecting the colors of the South Sudan flag. I was blown away by the quality, artistry and beauty of the blanket. She asked poignant questions, listened to my ideas and transformed it into a gorgeous baby blanket. If you want something uniquely created and supporting small business is important to you, take your gift money to Monica. She will make you something one-of-a-kind, beautiful, and crafted with pure love. You won't be disappointed!

I do crochet, jewelry and needle point so throughout the years I go to different craft stores…read more Depending on the location some have a variety of items and some don't. For this one it was a larger store. So I was able to find a few nice beads. The only thing is they didn't have needle point cloth with patters so I had to order them from Amazon. Unfortunately Amazon has everything but going to the stores is a lot better because you can touch and see what you are buying, they are a bit more on the pricier side. I will still go back.

Michael's; except with a new store and a new location....I'll take it!…read more The move to take over the vacancy left by a JoAnn store was a smart one. Not only is the location more favorable (in the mall area) but I think it's also a new(er) store. Inside, it's more streamlined, the staff seems more happier and that "new store smell'' is always a plus. And a more expansive parking lot. Whether you liked Michael's before or not, consider a walk-thru. You might like it!
