They connected me immediately by phone with Kevin, who initially spent a nice amount of time answering all of my initial questions before I was even a client! I then got to do an in person meeting where Kevin spent a lot of time (which he didn't have to, I just had a lot more questions about my specific situation!) going through my current and prior year returns. He was patient, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. He didn't try to rush me or push me into anything I didn't need. I call and leave a message, 1 week after that, no response. I would suggest avoiding this place like the plague. They are completely unprofessional, unreliable, and downright rude. Go to a private CPA instead, or like I did, use TurboTax. The only reason I tried H&R block in person in the first place was because their online software was inadequate. What a nightmare. I was with their "payroll service" for a month and never got paid it never processed correctly and I kept getting told "oh it should work now I fixed it". So I signed back up with PayChex who has never dropped the ball. My monthly financials were always late - by over a month. What a joke. Needless to say I went running back into the arms of my previous CPA. THEN of course, Miller & Associates now had access and changed all login credentials for all my state tax stuff. So I had no access to my accounts, I contacted Miller to find that those who had worked on my account were no longer there and the owner (Mike Miller) was claiming that he was not receiving password resets and did not have an email address associated with the payroll company....? That he owned? I had to spend 3 hours on hold with the state to re-set it and sure enough they verified that it was going to an address at his firm. Which I had point blank asked "do you own an email address ending in @bulldogpayroll" and he said "no, only @millerandassociates email addresses". And full on lied to me because he didn't want to deal with it. If I can prevent anyone from making the mistake of dealing with this joke of a company then I hope I save you some time and money.

While I did attempt to have my taxes filed at the deadline I was under the expectation it would be filed in a timely matter and short term penalty I was ok with. Disappointingly it was filed 5 months later with a tax penalty of $3500... Understanding the average tax pricing and what they charge, I'd be cautious to file here with lack of communication and failure to meet to expectations.
