I got the Nachos El Serio and the Desert Flower margarita. The customer service was very good. I was able to place my order at the register, sit out on the patio (during what was initially a sunny day) and enjoy my food less than 15 minutes later. Fresh and piping hot. The flavors were serious and the margarita was sooo good and strong enough to give me a light buzz. When staying with family in Shreveport I absolutely will come back to Don Juanz. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was perfect--dimly lit, elegant, and classic. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and made great recommendations. I ordered the Ribeye (medium-rare), and it was cooked to absolute perfection--melt-in-your-mouth tender with a great char. My partner had the seafood platter, and everything was incredibly fresh. Don't skip the sides; the au gratin potatoes are dangerous. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just want a high-quality steak dinner, this is the spot.
