Extremely Rude people. Wish i could give negative stars. They couldn't give an ETA. Had to take my wife to work, not even 10 minutes away. Told them to start on it when they got to location needing lock fixed. Guy was EXTREMELY RUDE on phone. Got back, locksmith was even more rude, started cussing at me. Worst service I've ever seen. Had to tell the guy to leave, im not spending my hard earned money on someone who acts like it's an inconvenience for me to spend my money with them. Im a business owner, that is NOT the way you treat people. Will NEVER do business with them.​ So I just read thier reply. That is NOT how it happened. The guy was extremely rude, unprofessional, cursed, even the neighbor said it was ridiculous. If the guy would have been polite he would have got a hundred dollar tip. I went ahead and hired a guy from Llincoln City. They don't normally service this area. I told him whatever he charges, I'll double the rate. He's on way right now. Bonehead stunned on my part but I grabbed the wrong keys this morning and locked myself out of my house was headed on an errand to get groceries so on the way to pick up the groceries I had ordered I called RJ's to see if they would have time to help get me into my place he said call me when you get ready to leave the grocery store and I will be on the way so I got home 10 minutes later he drove into the driveway and about 20 minutes later he was driving out of the driveway. This place has it all and installed a touch-pad combination lock for us within 48 hours. The guy cut some keys for us while at the house, which worked great. I'll go back here whenever I need lock and security support. read more

The only thing that RJ's Lock and Key has ever done for me is screw up my key and new key fobs that I trusted he knew what he was doing in programming them correctly. My car has not been able to start since that day. Multiple mechanics have run the diagnostics on it and it comes back to the same result every time-THE FOBS!! I have paid 7 car and insurance payments since this happened and my car still won't start. I wouldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy!! I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF THE SITE WOULD LET ME.1 is far too generous. read more

Top notch customer service. Had to get our place rekeyed a few times over the last three years, due to purchase and shady contractors losing our keys. Always fast and friendly super helpful. This was not a rekey but a mis aligned strike plate and lock on a latch that was locking us out and or in. My daughter drove to the beach with my dog for a hike. Got a static filled phone call from her saying she locked her keys in the car with my pooch in it! She gave me the mile post where she kind of was and that was it. Called and asked if he could find her? Was worried it was going to start getting hot with my dog in the car. He said he thought he could find her. Can't remember his name but he called me as soon as he unlocked the car and said they were fine. My daughter said he arrived with a bottle of water for her and the dog! 5 STARS!!! THANK YOU! Fast, gracious, helpful, and reasonably priced! Our beach house in Oceanside has a notoroiously terrible front door lock that had gotten so difficult to open that my elderly parents were walking down 15 steps to enter and exit from the basement multiple times a day. This locksmith is actually RJ's not TJ's, at least it is now. We called him at 5:15 on the 24th and said we didn't need a locksmith until the 25th. We couldn't make our front door(house)in Pacific City open from the outside .He called much earlier than expected and we met him at the house in about five minutes(25th). He really appeared to know what he was doing and he fixed the front door In about 15 minutes. Way cheaper than we thought too! I would definately recommend this company! read more

I called R.j's Lock & Key for an estimate to rekey two Andersen Storm Doors. I actually have 3 doors but want to use the same key for all of them. I was told the cost estimate was about $108.00. Darin shows-up at my house about 45 minutes later to begin the job. He takes the locks apart and proceeds to go to his vehicle to work using the trailer hitch on his Jeep. Almost 2 hours go by and gives me a bill for $146.00 with all kinds of excuses as to why it took so long. The reality was he didn't really know what he was doing and did not complete the job fully. I called his boss, Jesse to complain I had not gotten the phone I was promised. Bottom line, I would never call this company again and obviously would NOT recommend. read more

Locked my keys in my car in Rockaway. Googled locksmiths after I tried using a rusty coat hanger. Found TJ's and saw they had one great review on Yelp. Well it's time for another one. Can't remember the persons name who answered the phone, but he was polite, friendly and unfortunately said that he had just arrived at another job. He said he would call me back as soon as he was done to see if I still needed help, and it would probably be an hour and a half. Resigned to a long wait I said fine, and went to take walk on the beach with my wife and 2 dogs. Within 20-30 mins the gentleman called and said he would be on his way and be there in 15 mins! Woo hoo! When he got here he was friendly, professional, and the job was done within 10 mins. Paid him a very reasonable $70 and went on with our day.
