Good Italian food in a beautiful, lakeside setting. Service can be slow at times, but food is always hot and fresh. Staff is amazingly friendly. The pizzas are fantastic! read more

Food was fine. I ordered seafood risotto and Swiss style fish. Shame on the waiters to ask for tips. In Switzerland the bill is all inclusive. We paid for service. After we paid the bill, he said loudly pay tips for the service. He asked where we came from and we said the Unuted States. No bread served. We had food in seegarten for the remaining days, good service and food. read more

Randomly stumbled upon this place by the lake, and was impressed with the food. Everyone working is speaking Italian, so guess this is a good sign for an Italian restaurant. My friend had a pizza and I had lasagna, which was one of the best I've had in Switzerland. Very good balance of tomato, cheese, and beef, and piping hot out of the oven. My friend gave the pizza a thumb's up. I can imagine this place is very popular in the summer, with the lakeside location and outdoor seating. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable considering the location, as well as the quality and quantity of food. I'll definitely look forward to visiting again when I'm in Spiez. read more

ONLY place in switzerland where servers grifted for a tip. Because of this lack of class especially in a higher ended restaurant i do not recommend. Adequate pizza and good house wine. Located on the water just off the boat. read more

The food was OK. However, for this price range, I'd expect a much better service. (1) the server told me impolitely that 'tips are not included' when he handed me the check and asked for a explicit amount of tip (10 for a 82 bill). Even in United States where service is not included in the bill, I've never seen any server explicitly ask for the tip; 2) During the meal, I asked for an additional plate, to my surprise the server responded you already get one, then I need to explain why I need an additional plate. I wouldn't expect this conversation happen between customer and server. read more
