Sunrise is one of those memorable shops. ONce you've been in you will never forget it…read more The shop sells a mjority of alterantive clothing, as well as a host of other bits and bobs! The shop has a website too which will give you a much broader look at what they sell. When i first went into this shop i was quite amazed at the smell, its smelt of insense- lots and lots of insense mixed with some sort of drug, it must ahve been. But whatever it was it smelt great! A good feeling whilst being in there and coming out! The staff are super friendly here and will do whatever they can to help out! This can also be said about the online/phone teams too! Although they are based in Bury St Edmonds, which is very close. The shp sells lots of trainers and hoodies and combats and skirts, all by well known brands too which can be seen from some of th prices. Which although fair i suppose could eb lower. They have lots of colour in the shop too, and you just want to look at everything. It really is very weird but cool at the same time! So if your looking for a new bong or bandana or even trainers sunrise has it all! Definately worth going to even if you dont want or need to buy anything! Guaranteed you will be on the webiste in future checking it out!
This appears like magic on the streets of Norwich every 8th of the month…read more It's a great idea and way to get rid of things you don't want any more. It's like a bring and buy sale but without case trading. They have several tables set out on the busy street where you have a look and if you like something simply take it and say thank you. You never know what you might see there. In the past I've seen jigsaws to ski boots. It's a got a kind of a studenty vibe to it which isn't a bad thing. In the current climate I'd imaged those who would have normally walked passed and balked at the idea of having something second hand may now not be so hoity toity. I saw a bike in here, a really nice vintage bike for £50! That's cheaper than some new ones and it looked so much better, more classy! The shop is just so unique and quirky and I love living just across the street from it!
I went in looking for some specific objects that the store didn't have. Not the store's fault, but…read moreMel was very helpful and we had a nice chat about antiques in general and the things I was looking for in particular. He recommended some other shops down the road who ended up having exactly what I was looking for. I wish I could have purchased something at his store and will likely go back but it was a good experience and I thought he was kind and professional.
