All of the girls at the reception desk welcome you upon arrival, introducing themselves individually to you, even though they're all super busy, they all take the time to talk with you as they work, they are all so sweet, and have great senses of humor - even arriving via elevator to reception is a fun experience, as the elevator moves very slowly, so there is a plaque inside reassuring you that everything is fine, the elevator is not malfunctioning, but I won't ruin the surprise and tell you what it says - I laughed, and arrived smiling, despite being in a lot of pain. Terra took all of my Xrays and photographs, and assisted Dr Mark throughout my exam and evaluation; she is super sweet, friendly, so very patient, and also has a great sense of humor, most importantly- if you're hurting, Terra makes all of the procedures just fly by, she's extremely efficient and professional as she's quickly accomplishing everything that the Dr needs to evaluate your best course of treatment. Dr Mark is very calming and reassuring, you immediately trust him, and just like all of his girls - he is super sweet, friendly, warm, and welcoming. IF you're afraid of dental procedures / have had a bad previous experience elsewhere - this is where you NEED to go! I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Hooks as my oral surgeon the past year. Due to a myriad of issues that arose in a short period of time I was forced to choose between an upper denture or in the Teeth in a day (TIAD) procedure. Although it was a fairly costly option, I chose TIAD, after researching the process, its success rate, and the long term success of the procedure. Fortunately, finding Dr. Hooks as the surgeon for this procedure was the best person I could have found. He is an extremely caring human being first and foremost. Taking into account his excellent surgery skills along with his caring approach to each and every patient IMO, I could have not been luckier to have found Dr. Hooks to care for my mouth, and teeth in the near and long term. If anyone has any issues with their teeth please do not hesitate to call his office. His staff are incredible people. For several years, I have been getting a complete restoration that was being done in another state prior to moving to Florida! There were many delays due to my husband's illness that prevented me from completing the restoration in a timely manner! During that time, I had several issues from root canals to issues with temporaries that needed to be taken care of while here! Even though the restoration was being done at an out of town dental practice, Dr. Fedele and his staff went above and beyond to help me and did so in the most professional manner and treated each event urgently! I am so impressed with Riverview Cosmetic Dentistry that I will always use them in the future for any dental needs! I have also referred my husband and he too was very impressed and loved his visit with Dr. Hooks for his cleaning! Really impressed! Coming from Fairfield County, CT I felt this practice deserves a strong positive review. They utilize advanced technology as a routine rather than requiring another visit to a specialist. Aside from a terrific comprehensive exam, baseline photos, measuring for gum health and signs of oral cancer, the use of computer technology tools helped make for a better clinical exam - in one fell swoop. Panoramic images were taken as a baseline and these were not even offered at my previous practice in CT. Grateful for a terrific experience, Dr Hook and his assistant Tara were quite personable, well versed and skilled in their practice. They were polite and demonstrated concern for my comfort. I did not feel rushed. I was impressed by Dr Hooks knowledge of Dental Appliances for Sleep Apnea treatment. While they are out of network for my insurance provider they offered to submit my claim for reimbursement. I thought their charges were fair for the service received. In total, these are the reasons and observations that made me rate Dr Hooks at Riverview Cosmetics with 5-stars. I'm confident I'm in good hands at this practice! read more

Selecting a new dentist is a difficult task. Finding someone to do a most invasive, personal and uncomfortable procedure, tests the nerves of the strongest. Look no further! From the charm of the Riverview clinic, a well preserved  antique architectural treasure with wood floors, metal ceiling panels, ornate moldings, tiny fun elevator, and the expansive river views,  to the busy warmth of Everyone there, and most of all, Dr.  Fedele , there are not enough stars. In my work I have been in the company of many people, Kings, Major corporate execs, and those of fame and importance, including Perry Como, Tammy Wynette, and I worked for Burt Reynolds and all those around him for 18 years, but i have never experienced  the calm, kind, and  thorough manner of Dr. Fedele, a feeling that puts you at ease and assures you of the mastery of his profession.  I promise you an experience that is unlike any sort of medical office, that I have ever seen! Where do I start? The staff is so nice and the dental care I receive from this office is outstanding! I've been a patient for a few years now. Denise, my hygienist, is terrific! She is gentle with her work, kind and very knowledgeable. Rest assured, whoever you visit there is extremely skilled! Today, I visited Sherry for a cleaning, she was great! I'm pleased to know Dr. Fedele, come the end of each visit, does a thorough examination. I haven't had a lot of dental work in my years, but those few cavities Dr. Fedele has filled .... you'd never know they were there! No pain, and with the porcelain filling, you truly cannot tell! Should you visit the office, I would highly recommend seeing the "before and after" photos of the cosmetic dentistry Dr. Fedele does. Impressive! The entire staff welcomed me and made sure I was comfortable in their place of business. All greetings were sincere. This was my first visit to this Dentistry and I could have claimed I had been a patient and friend for years for the way the staff treated me from my first hello off of the elevator. Dr Hooks was outstanding as he slowly explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. Very thorough exam and discussion. Dr Hooks asked me more than once if I had any questions. He was a good listener and I could tell he was a caring D.M.D. The X-Ray Technician and Hygienist were also professional and attentive to my needs. I was extremely impressed with both of them. I was also impressed with the Hygienist's 27 years with Riverview. Lastly, I would not hesitate to recommend Riverview to anyone that was looking for a new Dentistry. read more

Couldn't ask for any more comforting, professional, well run, caring, fun offices. Love my dental hygenist, Paige, as she's knowlegable, understanding, easy to talk to, knows how to clean those teeth without inflicting pain, interjects professional comments when needed or asked. When Dr. Hooks is busy Dr. Fedele will come in after my teeth have been cleaned and check my teeth and mouth. Again, questions are answered in a professional, lay person way or exlplaination given by both8 Drs. The entire reception staff are wonderful and give a welcome greeting and efficient in all their individual duties. The entire experience, is from the time you finally step off of the "turtle" driven elevator, pleasant and efficient and makes you feel welcomed, calm, and reassured. What an amazing first experience! From the reception area where all three women were warm, friendly, and accommodating- all with a big warm smile ! Jeannie made a crown better than any I've had, which I didn't think was possible. And Dr Hooks was a calming presence if you were one to be scared at a dentist office. If you want a local Dr and staff that is caring, nice, and genuine - then you have found the right place. Where else can you go with a river view while you're getting dental work? I just moved from the East and thought it would tough to find a replacement of my 22 year relationship in Philly. Looks like the new team is even better! I can't wait for my next visit in April. Can't say enough about the excellent care I ALWAYS receive. Just want to say that I had a molar extracted by Dr. Hooks back in October, 2018 followed by my first implant by him in January, 2019. Dr. Hooks did a fantastic job and made me extremely comfortable throughout the procedure. His ability to explain my options (implant vs. bridge) and the cost and long-term outcome made the process stress-free. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the procedure. I was visiting Stuart from out of town and chipped my tooth. Not knowing any of the local dentists, I relied upon word of mouth and was referred to Riverview. The receptionists were cordial and very helpful over the phone and were able to fit me in at the end of the day. Upon arrival I was welcomed by two genuinely friendly and smiling faces. The hygienist Anna greeted me and was a delight from start to finish. Dr. Hooks was incredible! He constantly communicated what he was doing during the procedure and asked if I was pleased with the results. He offered to fit me in at any point during the rest of my stay in Florida if follow up work is required. This has been by far the BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist's office! read more

I had a tooth extracted by Dr Hook and the experience was amazing, as tooth extractions go. Everything was explained ahead of time including the procedure and the cost. I opted for Novacaine instead of twilight sleep. I used sound dreading headset and was perfectly at ease. Today is the day after and I have no pain or side affects. I did relax all day yesterday and was tired but had no pain. The only pain medicine I took was Motrins and Tylenol. if I was ever going to have another tooth extraction (which I hope I will never need). I would definitely go to Dr Hook again and he will be my dentist going forward. If I opt for a post and implant, I will definitely have Dr Hook preform the priocess. I am new to the area. read more

I saw Dr. Hook and I was very impressed with his knowledge, friendly demeanor , and desire to make you happy! After seeing other (inferior) dentists in Stuart, the price charged here was the same, but these people are cosmetic and restorative SPECIALISTS, and I feel very confident in their ability to do superior work for the same price as a regular dentist. I liked the staff, the office, and even the water view from the dentist chair!! All in all I had a very pleasant experience, and feel confident in trusting them with the extensive work that I need to have done. I would highly recommend them. P.S. From my first visit about five years ago to today this is by far the best dental practice I have ever experienced. From Grace the receptionist who cheerfully and efficiently gets you in as needed to Denise the hygienist who is so kind and careful to Dr Hooks who is simply amazing, they are stellar! Dr Hooks treats you as if you are the only patient he has, no rush! I no longer dread the dentist but instead look forward to seeing them all. Dr. Fedele and Dr. Hooks are truly the best at what they do! I avoided dentists for many, many years after having a horrible childhood experience. Let's face it, going to the dentist is not on the top of our list of favorite things to do! However, when I do need to visit them I am treated like family. The work they do is top quality and painless - yes painless! While I do still experience a small degree of anxiety initially when I arrive, it quickly disappears once I am settled in the chair. A very favorable day at Riverview Shortly after I arrived Robin came to WR and kindly brewed a cup of coffee for me. Shortly after Paige came in to offer her greetings. Later when I was in the chair she brought me a toothbrush Dr. Hooks and his assistant, Julie (?) proceeded to fill several cavities. Very skillful and highly efficient. Excellent team!! (Note: While work was in process, at my request, music on the sound system was changed to Glenn Miller.) Finally on departure it was necessary to run the gamut through Grace. I am pretty much a new patient recommended by my neighbor. My first visit was with Marc Fedele about two years ago and he was very honest. I had to get two caps which were done by Matthew Hooks. He is great gentle and so caring of his patients. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had not return back for my cleaning until this week. My hygienist was fabulous great cleaning "which I could go every week". Dr. Hooks checked my teeth and took his time to ask me how I was feeling and doing. I went to Dr. Hook as an emergency appointment. He was kind gentle and very personable. He takes time to talk to you and listens. I just went back today for what another dentist said was a root canal. Dr. Hooks did a filling. No need for root canal. He's one of the most honest dentist out there. I can't say enough about him. The staff is excellent as well. What a great practice they have going. Do yourself a favor and make them your dentist. The honesty alone is so rare in this day. I would recommend them to everyone.
