I first saw Dr. Willis 39 years ago as a 21 year old newly married woman who had just moved to Port Saint Lucie and he was freshly out of dental school. (1983). He bonded my upper front teeth at the time, I STILL have those bondings as of today with just minimal repairs through the years. Dr. Willis and his staff have ALWAYS been kind, caring and truly concerned for my dental needs. Along the way (15 years ago) I was diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome, which explained my severe dental issues even though a proactive brusher and flosser. (ugh) Yesterday I had a dental emergency and Dr. Willis and staff had me right in, addressed the issue and referred me to Dr. Sprechman (another awesome oral surgeon) for a dreaded root canal. I still feel like I've gone 6 rounds with Mike Tyson on the lower jaw, BUT I am so GRATEFUL for the care and kindness given to me. Dr. Willis is the BEST dentist EVER! I have been going to him for over 25 years now and even though I no longer live in the Stuart area, I still travel to Stuart for all of my dental needs. He is very personable and makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. But most of all he is honest, which I have found to be a rarity in the dental industry. He and his staff do not try to upsell you on work you do not need... ever! I have referred several people to him over the years in which other dentists told them they needed thousands of dollars of work and it turned out they only needed one cavity filled or one crown (not a whole mouth full), and in one case there was nothing needed. He was highly recommended to me by my sister, who I trust totally, and have gone to any Dr. She recommends! I'll jump out of an airplane....but walking in the front door of the dentist office had me shaking so much I could barely fill out my paperwork! Thank goodness Dr. Willis and his staff are so amazing....they helped me relax and laugh a little. Dr. Willis voice and demeanor couldn't be more soothing and his expertise is obvious. Love love LOVE this dental office. The hygenist, Christine, was awesome! Attentive, gentle and smart! Love the digit x-ray that allows me to just stand there instead of having all of the bites to clamp down on that have always hurt me in the past. Took minutes to do x-rays. And I can't say enough great things about Dr. Benson. I don't feel like I'm every being "oversold" on treatments I don't need but feel like I'm in great hands with a dentist who truly has my best interest at heart! This office is full of energetic, engaging people. I stumbled upon it years ago with a dental emergency. Another office had tried to "sell" me a $1000 solution. Drs. Benson and Willis were able to fix my problem tooth in about 10 minutes for a fraction of the cost. 10 years later, it's still fine.
