OK, this is the first dentist review I've ever written....and I'm 82.
First, the good stuff. The place was spotless and attractive.
They accepted my insurance, Concordia. The front desk staff was very nice.
I think that I got the wrong Dr Kramer. I went to this place to give it a try because the dentist i had, who was fine, didn't take my insurance. And I know I read some reviews somewhere, clearly not on Yelp, that were positive......about Dr. Kramer. Well, theres' a husband and wife. I got the wife and certainly not the one in the positive reviews, unless she had her family write the reviews.
In all my years, i've never had a rough dentist. This was my first. I'm not saying she didn't know what she was doing. It was more the way she did it. I told my dental group rep if she wanted a clear description, she should see the Jack Nicholson film, "Little shop of Horrors" where he's the sadistic dentist...very funny film...but nada for the dr. Kramer I got. She did say 'sorry' about ten times...no exaggerating poking esp. two crowns, one that started to hurt and has since off and on, so now I'm worried about it. Dr Kramer poked like she was excavating a cave with a pick ax. My eyes started to water. She also sort of pushed some for me to get x-rays even though my prior dentist did email them and they were only about six months old.
The hygienist was nice but she spritzed my face twice w/ water and said nothing.
Lovely place, good staff, but I won't be going back. read more
