The teachers in my son's classroom are so friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They upload pictures to their app and are very organized in how they relay information about my child's daily activities. They do so many activities with his class, and I can tell it's having a huge impact on my son's development. We are very grateful for them, and in just a short time they already feel like family. The staff is professional, warm and have been very responsive to my son's needs. I highly recommend Goddard Canton.

From kids breaking my AirPods, getting assaulted, making instagram account about me making me feel suicidal and now I get recorded in the locker room while I'm taking a number 2. Maturity no longer exists here. Franklin High School= A Cesspool. I'm sorry, but the school authorities don't care enough to stop bullying. It's amazing so many people haven't lost their minds while getting bullied here. I'm not the only person who's going through these things, if they don't stop, who's to say these animals won't do the worst?

It was a great school then and is a great school now. They have a good academics record, active sports program, fantastic music department, excellent teachers, a very informed and involved principle, supportive parents, and lots of school spirit. The building and equipment are up to date. This is a school students, teachers, parents and alumni should be, and are, very proud of. I know I am.

My kids couldn't even read and they were in second grade. I transferred them to keystone and by April my kids have surpassed their grade level reading and now are at the top of the class. This school does NOT take bullying. I've seen several kids get suspended/expelled for fighting and bullying in general. Every school is going to have its pros and cons but this school is absolutely one of the best for curriculum, and attention to detail when teaching you're children. I strongly feel that if you have the chance to send you're children here that they would benefit from not only educational but morally too. This is the best school for lots of children and these schools vary based on each individual school so judging all based on one won't work. You'll have to see for yourself! Truly great school!! I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. If I could give them 10 stars I would definitely go above and beyond because that's the kind of school they are! Please only take into consideration ADULT reviews. I seen a review from a student complaining about homework. This school is suppose to prep them for college and go above and beyond educational requirements to have them college bound. A large part of the curriculum for junior high is homework because you have to practice to understand!! If you want you're children to have a great education and achieve great success then you're looking at the perfect school!

My wife and I were so thrilled when we got a call from the school saying our son was picked from the lottery drawing they held when the school first opened. We had tried getting him into some of the other charter schools in the Canton area and were unsuccessful. We feel the school and administration have done just a spectacular job in getting the school up and running and their organizational skills are second to none. Our son loves the school and the latch key program after school as my wife and I both work until 5:00 and are unable to pick him up right after school. M & M does the after school care and they are also just fantastic to deal with. Everyone is so friendly and caring, so unlike the public school we started our son at in Van Buren Township. Truly looking forward to the next 5 years our son gets to attend this school and so hoping they open a high school or 2 or 3 ASAP..... A big thanks to the administration of this school for doing such an awesome job. My wife, son and I truly appreciate the job you do!!! If anyone "out" there is looking to get your kids in a great school look no furthur than South Pointe Scholars Charter Academy.

Offering not only general education studies, but more importantly art classes in a variety of mediums, this 9-12th grade school is herald as the best of the best among local public schools. Opened over a decade ago by Denise Darcel Davis, this premiere public school offers students studies in dance, television communications, theater, visual arts and more on top of math, science, English, etc. Students are accepted only on an audition/portfolio basis, so the stakes are high, but definitely worth it. The school moved in early 2000 to its multi-million dollar facility off of Cass Ave in Midtown. For those seeking a one up in the field of art this is the Detroit school to do it in. As an alumni myself I would first recommend attending for the brilliant art teachers and the advantage students receive in their field of study. The school days are a bit longer, but students of DSA receive the advantage, DSA students consistently score higher on Michigan standardized test than any local public school.

Some of the pluses: 1) It's a beautiful campus. The building is new. It's bright and airy. It's very clean. There's a huge stage for preformances. 2) The counseling staff really seem to care about the students. Our student made a lot of adjustments on her class schedule and they were always willing to work with her. 3) The art-related classes are very good and they have a wide variety of options. On the downside: 1) Despite being given such a good opportunity, some of the students just aren't that serious about their art or their academic classes. There was a lot of skipping school to hang out at Wayne State or Starbucks. 2) The building itself is very tall with lots of stairs. If I was a student there I would not be happy about going up and down five or six flights 8-10 times a day. The elevator is only for students with medical disabilities that prevent them from taking the stairs. 3) I got a real shock when the first report card arrived and I saw that our student had a number of skipped classes and more than a dozen tardies. Frankly, I think the school should call you the first time your student misses class or is unually late with no reasonable excuse. I would have liked significantly more communication rather than having to hear about things way after the fact.
