I have lived here since March of 2016, and I think it is a wonderful place to live. There are about 60 to 80 apartments here. Just like everywhere else there are good people and bad people here. They have one bedroom full size apartments and One bedroom efficiencies for rent. Apartments are based on your income. Rent includes all utilities except cable and internet. You are allowed one non aggressive small dog, or two cats. You are allowed to smoke cigarettes in your Apartments, floor balconies, or twenty feet from any exterior door in the building. This is the first apartment building I have ever lived in. So far I am enjoying lib k by here. read more

I've never dealt with a property manager as difficult as her. when you're moving or looking for a new place to live, you want this to be easy and the management team to be kind. She's the complete opposite. She doesn't want to work with you, AT ALL. and when you ask questions, she acts like she's all high and mighty and treats you like you should already know the answer.. if I knew the answer I would not have asked. I have tried twice to apply to this location, at 6 month difference. First time, I was answered to the email sent after 5 days. The second time, after 2 days, telling me that 'who am I to be answered to the email sent the next day?'. She always find excused, but with this phrase she said it all. The hurtful truth is that WILL NOT FIND ANY RESPECT and DIGNITY in the public housing. The managers all act like Tyrants and Despots, acting like they are keeping you there for free, despising and being rude to you. They should be reminded that they have a job just because of us, the ones they are bullying and disrespect. They have zero morality and humanity, and in their immense foolishness consider themselves 'gods', using their power to do harm and evil, while waiting to be worshiped for their 'manager' title. Disgusting!

Single…read moreand in my early 30s, I wanted to live in a location with access to a number of restaurants and bars, but I did not want to drive 40 minutes from Pittsburgh to Washington. The Residences turned out to be the ideal spot. Though I initially balked at the monthly rent, I found it to be well worth the price. (The price point also keeps out the rift-raft, as residents hold down jobs and live stable lives.) With such a new facility, I've never had to call maintenance--though it's my understanding that they tackle any issues that pop up within hours. The outside perks include 5 eateries/bars at The Street (the plaza the building is in), a patio with a grill and propane fire pit, and a sizable parking lot where you'll never have to look for a spot. Inside, I make use of the workout room (2 treadmills, elliptical machine, bike, free weights, yoga mats, etc.) and the Keurig coffee machine in the lobby. I have a one bedroom apartment, which to me has three great features: the walk-in closet, granite counter tops in the kitchen, and the washer/dryer unit in (another) closet. The management is very personable, and they understand that the building is your home. To foster a sense of community, the management team has organized game-watches, a Kentucky Derby party, an end-of-summer event, a Christmas door decorating contest. The weekly donut spread in the lobby on Friday mornings is also popular with residents. I will be moving out-of-state over the summer to for another career opportunity (academia...), but it's safe to say that I will miss living in The Residences. Quite frankly, it's just a really nice place to live.

This place was a dream compared to where we lived before in Washington (if you're thinking of…read morerenting from Lobos Management, do yourself a favor and just say no!)! The apartment was clean when we moved in and they had installed new carpet and a brand new stove. The Property Manager was lovely! She answered all questions in a timely fashion and handled all issues within 24 hours, even on the weekend (examples - A/C stopped working, fixed the next day; broken toilet, fixed within 2 hours on a Saturday). Since we moved in, they have repaved the parking lot twice, installed new washers/dryers in one laundry room and installed new kitchen cabinets in our apartment. Just prior to moving, they repainted the patios and stairs. The Maintenance Person is really great and he does a fantastic job. Our rent increased a total of $10 in 3 years, and was not going to be increased if we signed a new lease. The only reason we didn't stay longer is because we had saved up enough money to buy a house. If I ever had a need I would certainly rent here again.

The property management staff are very diligent about keeping the property safe and well maintained. Any issue that I've had has been rectified in less than 24hrs! This is a nice quiet small rural neighborhood where we all look out for one another. The new owners are always looking for ways to improve the units as well as the property. They are currently looking into updating the laundry room! I am proud to call The Barnesville Commons my home!
