This is a great church that is a growing church and a very welcoming congregation. I visited here…read morethe first time several months ago, actually on the same day Charlie Kirk was shot. I attended the church service and the speaker did an excellent job of sharing an important message that was pertinent for the time and offered healing during a very difficult day and season of life because of what is going on in our country, not only on that specific day, but continues even today. The church has very well kept and modern facilities, even though I know that some of the facilities are older they have been well maintained and are very comfortable and up-to-date. They also have brand new aspects of the facility that are very nice and modern. And I believe they are also working on building a new facility because of their church growth.

I had tried out a few churches in the area before I found First Christian. I've stayed at First…read moreChristian because I feel a genuine connection to the church's leaders and their sermons. I had never been to a large church before visiting First Christian and I had wondered if I would feel out of place. Now I know that the size and style of a church doesn't matter nearly as much as the content of their sermons. First Christian has many effective teachers on staff. They teach from the bible, and they do it in a way that ties scripture to the challenges that many Christians are facing today. Ryan Rasmussen is the church's new pastor. I've heard a few of his sermons now and it's clear to me that he is a powerful leader who packs a lot of genuine excitement into his sermons. I would recommend this church to anyone in any demographic. I can especially see how non-Christians and young individuals would feel comfortable here. In case anyone is wondering, I hold no position at the church. I am simply a guy who has attended First Christian for 2 years now and has enjoyed the experience of growing closer to God.
