Its a great non-denominational church that cares…read moreabout its community and strives to make the world a better place using God and the Bible without all the dogma, ceremonies, and non-biblical traditions of denominations. You'll find friends, learn something, and become a better person here at Crossroads. It has a large attendance (two services on Sunday, and a multitude of activities during the week) but the staff and volunteers go a long way to make it have a small church feel where you can get to know everyone. Most of the staff have college degrees (if not all) in the field they work in and the children's program is TOP NOTCH. Live bands, singing, worship, it doesn't get any better than this. Their VBS is over the top! 1000+ children attend every year. Its a great thing to bring your children to for a summer break. The best church I have ever been a member of and I've been going all my life. No church is perfect, but I have grown in my spiritual walk exponentially since attending. I've learned what it means to be a follower of Christ not a follower of religion. If you are looking for a church, try this one out.

The church has started catering to a younger audience and this also has driven quite a few of the older members off, which has been sad to see, our family left also. NOW CALLED: Crosspoint Alliance Church! Pretty sure they switched the name about 10 years ago…read more I have been attending Crosspoint since 2014, and I have loved every minute of it! You will never find more genuine, Christ-centered people. I've sat under the teaching of two pastors in my years here, and I have grown so much as a follower of Christ and a fellow member of the body of Christ! I have helped out with 5 Day Club (aka Vacation Bible School) in the summers and see God work in mighty ways through it. I have also see them WONDERFUL work the church is doing through their ESL (English as a Second Language) program! The work in teaching refugees and loving on them has been incredible to watch! If you are in need of a church body to become a part of, or if you're just in town for a Sunday, we would love to have you :)

For me to travel 25 minutes to get to church says a lot about the church. I am a big fan of St…read more Bernard. Their priest, Father Clyde, is one of the better priests I've encountered in a while. I say that because he gives topical yet relevant homilies--hard to find in a Catholic church with an older priest. I find myself thinking about his thought-provoking homilies for days after I attend church. The weekday 12:10pm mass is great for a lunch mass. It only lasts 35 minutes. The church is gorgeous inside and well-maintained. I just like the vibe there. And the parishoners are courteous--they sing the songs and the wait until the last song is over before they depart the church. I like that because many people in other churchs start filing out before the last song is over (I think this is terribly rude and disrespectful). There is a small parking lot next to the church. If you aren't lucky enough to get one of those spots, it's parking meter city for you!

There are several Sunday morning classes for adults and many ways to get involved. Communion is taken every week and worship is a great balance of contemporary and traditional. Visit Northside online. Below is more about the church. Here at Northside we try to be the church as it was in the Bible. We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. We believe in the Trinity, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe every human being is in desperate need of Jesus for salvation and purpose on earth. We believe that faith in Christ is expressed through repentance from sin, a confession of that faith, and baptism through immersion. We believe that every Christian ought to pursue knowing Christ more every day and shining His light into this world. We try to foster simple, Biblical faith every week in everything we do.
