The customer service is on the lax side and not as attentive as your typical resort but it's a cute little getaway just a few hours out of Vancouver. The prices are decent, restaurant isn't anything to write home about but it's ok. I prefer cooking my own food anyways. It had a concrete pool to tan at if you do t want to swim in the lake. They have little boats with outbound motors for rent at $70 day including gas. No complaints. It's under new management so I think they may just be trying to work out the quirks so I'll give it another try. Be prepared to bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are really bad. The manager did say that this year was really bad for them. The place I was in was clean and decorated beautiful and rustic. It had a true cabin feel

Mine was unplugged the following day and I had a half charged battery. Thanks a lot. They have internet but won't give guests access to it. The pool was to packed to even get a seat or table. They won;t let you park your vehicle close to your cabin. Terrible access from the cabins to the lake/pool and office. The furniture is old and burnt out and smelly. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Not what it used to be. Not even close.

After letting your furry friend play in the water, you can stroll along the walkway and explore the Red Bridge and study its history. It is always a great find when dog owners can let their dogs run free and be themselves!! To have this facility within the downtown core is such a precious thing!

The look out point has a bench where you can sit and take in the spectacular view of the lake. So beautiful. Unfortunately the dry weather and previous fires have left its mark. You can still see burnt trees. On the trail there are Saskatoon berries too. Spider webs and other wildlife. We were lucky not to encounter any rattlesnake along the way. My friend has seen the snakes here before. It's also a good thing there is a signboard at the parking lot cautioning people about rattlesnake season.
