As well this place hits 3 pokestops and people would set off Lure playing Pokemon Go. I had a great time here and had to come twice to on two different days to catch rare or exotic Pokemon like Kabuto etc. As well there is a couple of gym here if you want to battle. Parking is not free. So this is definitely not cool. But if you continue to walk along the Riverside, you do hit more and more pokestop along with the nice view.

Also there are a ton of picnic tables and benches around the park which makes things easy for families who decide to grab lunch and want to chill out while their kids burn off some energy. We've stayed at…read moreRustic Cabins 7A and 1, and I prefer 7A for the added space and seclusion from neighbours. 7A is a short 5 min walk from the shower house/washrooms which lets you appreciate the starry night sky and catch a glimpse of the snow hares that hop by the solar panels. If you don't want to walk, you can drive and park by the front office lot. Showerhouse: super clean, warm, spacious, flush toilets, hot showers, tap to fill up on water as the rustic cabins don't have running water. Rustic cabins: Full size fridge, oven, gas stove, electricity, wood stove (for heat). 7A doesn't have extra outlets so we had to unplug the oven to charge cell phones etc. Fully stocked with plates/bowls/cutlery/pots/pans/paper towels/dish soap. Bring your own bedding and food. Fishing is a love/hate relationship - its a bit of a tricky lake to get a hang of but the regulars love it and come back every year. Might want to have at least AWD coming in as its quite hilly and snowy but we did peep a civic parked at the front office lot. Richard/Debbie and the crew are very friendly and helpful.

I came here with my husband and some friends to hit some golf balls on the driving range on a…read moreholiday Monday. Mt. Paul golf course offers a 9 hole par 32 course. Their driving range has 20 covered stalls on ground level, and 10 stalls on the upper deck. We didn't have any golf clubs with us, so we had to rent everything. Club rental is $2 each, which is pretty good. The cost for a bucket of balls is $4 for a small, $7 for a medium, and $9.50 for a large bucket. This seemed a bit expensive to me since I'm used to paying ~$6 for a bucket of balls in Vancouver. However, they offer a great deal which is a large bucket of balls and breakfast for $10 before 11 AM if you're an early bird. You pay for the bucket inside, and you get a receipt with a code on it. You take that code to the ball machine on the right side of the driving range, and fill the bucket there. The driving range is nice in that it has huge nets caging in the range, so there's no loose balls flying everywhere. It also makes it easier to see where the ball goes if you consistently slice left or right (like I do). I also like that you get a nice view of the hills in the area, and can enjoy the driving range without being cooked in the sun. The course was in great shape, they set up dinner and dessert for us and even stocked the beer cart with his favourite drinks. They were friendly, professional, and fast with food and drinks. The price was very reasonable and we definitely would recommend it to others! Thanks for saving my butt and making my husbands day.

They planned this facility well and I loved that they provide free parking for tournaments...normally 2 hrs free parking.

It's really the Overlanders Ski Club. But it's a walking, biking dream. 20 minutes from Kamloops…read moreon the Lac le Jeune road. Big parking lot. Lots of outhouses. Boat launch. Fall is the best time. Nice and dry. Check out my pics of the trail map. Perfect for all types. Bear Country !!!!

Played here again in 2022. This time with two foursomes. Again, great experience. Still target…read moregolf and still amazing views. Staff and members are great. You can imagine not being too familiar with the course that we would play a little slower than members who play daily. Never an issue with any member or player's assistant complaining about our pace of play. Restaurant was great. Staff excellent and good food. One course I really consider playing whenever I visit Kamloops.
