Most of the time he's trying to fill in my insurance and payment information himself. He doesn't have an assistant. He had at most one min listening to me. I'm not sure if the device he inserted into my nose had been properly sanitized. He seems to be in such a rush. In my case, the medical advice he gave did not work.

But the last straw came when I called to have a prescription refilled. The receptionist told me that I had to come back in for an appointment. When I asked what the appointment was for, she replied "don't worry, they don't have to go down south or nothing"! Are you serious? I know she wasn't the doctor, but I don't want my health care (any part of it) in the hands of morons! At least try to sound like you're smart and professional!

The front desk staff was very friendly, as was the nurse who did my intake. The nurse even deducted 4 pounds from my weight, to allow for the clothes/boots...thanks, Gustavo! :) I saw Dr. Weiss, and he was fantastic. He was friendly and down-to-earth, and really took his time to check me out and ask questions. He explained everything in terms I could understand, without being condescending. Another thing that I love about this practice is that they're very up-to-date with technology. The doctor typed up my prescriptions and "sent" them to my pharmacy immediately - by the time I got to CVS, the prescriptions were ready. I highly recommend The Doctor Is In, and Dr. Weiss in particular.

This doctor has shown himself to be prone to the worst sort of professional greed, as he's very fond of overbooking and thus tremendously inconsiderate of his patients' time. He may be a decent doctor overall, but unless you enjoy waiting for an hour or more for each scheduled appointment, for which you take the trouble to show up on time, than I strongly suggest you seek another doctor who has mastered the art of actually keeping appointments.

The speech therapists are nice and patent. However, the…read morereceptionist is cold, rude and just makes you uncomfortable to even be in the waiting room. They also have a $30 minimum on credit cards so if your copay is $20, you are locked in for the next session as well. It's just annoying and I've never heard of this at a medical practice. Further they don't have restrooms for their patients which is ridiculous when they have little children who go there.
