I have a house in Milford, but am primarily a NYC resident. I have seen first hand the effects on wealthy businesses in NYC . My husband and I were just by chance in Delaware to begin some much needed work on our Milford home. Unlike NYC Delaware's business owners are at a much higher risk of not surviving. I urge the decision makers for this now iconic business to take advantage of whatever this "STIMULUS PACKAGE" offers. There are many loop holes and hidden areas under which you can obtain relief. I do not want to be negative, but DE in general could conceivably if our citizens are irresponsible just now be experiencing the calm before the storm. I have been associated with the NYC HEALTH & HOSPITAL CORPORATION for well over 30 years. Delaware hospitals cannot stand up if we begin to see a pick up in cases. We have the new Sussex County campus, but not nearly enough staff. I beg of the business community to be proactive now and for businesses to protect themselves from criminal losses. In NYC including the outer Boros small shops are boarding up their windows and entry ways. IMHO this must be done in out little town. We will see the other side, but we don't know when. Act now. I would give it 4 stars, however, there's a few things that make me give it 3 stars. Some of the reasons include: Don't go on a hot day. It can get very hot/humid inside due to no air conditioning, only fans. Sometimes the man at the counter can be kind of rude. Sometimes things are overpriced. Due to it being vendors that sell there, he "rarely" lowers anything for anyone, so the price is the price. Otherwise, I think it's a great antique store with a wonderful selection, and it's a great place to visit on a day that's not hot or a day that's cold and rainy and I love to come here and will continue to do so!

I carried them up to the front and began to say something and then I decided that I didn't want to do that on a busy Saturday with such a crowded shop- so I turned around & put them back in the booth I found them in.... But what a huge disappointment! Why would a seller not disclose defects & 10.00 a plate is the going cost for a 'nonchipped' plate. if somebody isn't careful and does not run their finger along the edges, they will not realize how many chips are on these plates that fail to disclose their flawed condition. I think Yelp would help with foot traffic. We planned our day around driving down to Dover to a different toy store. The other one was cool but didn't take us all day so we grabbed a bite and decided to see if there was anything else around. We found this little place 20 minutes out of the way. Google said they had classic Beast Wars toys. That's our jam. This place was everything we wanted the first one to be. Great selection of classic toys. Especially 90's X-men. Totally reasonable pricing and most were brand new. Even G1 Transformers still boxed up. So we decided to ask if the owners had anything in the back that wasn't out yet and BAM! G1 Dinobots in the box came from the back! They also showed us a lot they just picked up but won't be on the shelf for a few weeks. :( The owners were so awesome. They are super passionate about collecting and helping others collect. That's why they don't have their prices like most places. I mean where ya gonna get unopened classic X-Men for $5?!? ARE YOU CRAZY?!? Batman the animated series. Large wrestling section. Ninja turtles(not in boxes but bagged). I honestly had stopped collecting action figures for a lot time and liquidated my collection but this place makes me want back in. Anyway even if you aren't near this joint take a road trip. It also has a nice selection of vintage kitchen wares. It is spacious, so you're not worried about knocking things over every time you turn around, the staff is super helpful, and the prices are unbeatable.
