I loved the squash as I cut it up into round flat slices and cooked them with some sliced onions and two bacons. The bacon was used to flavor the squash and onions. It was fantastic. Oh yes, I will definitely be coming back here if I am in the area. I just wish it wasn't so far from where I live. They also have lots of other stuff. I saw ; peppers, bell pepper, egg plant, lots of different kinds of nuts and jams and syrup. They have a store to the right of the fruit stand that has lots of other things and stuff. I always took care of my customers, doing my best to make them happy with 'customer' friendly policies. I recently bought a "basket of peaches" from Cockrell's Farmers Market and I came home with 5 bad peaches that had to be on the their "basket." I have always trusted the "basket" buying experience as the person that rings your order up does touch every item. I thought that if I ever bought some bad produce from them that they would stand behind their products. However, upon asking if they would replace the 5 bad peaches they said "No." These peaches were so damaged that they soaked the bottom of my Fridge Fruit Drawer and took a while to clean the mess up. I have learned my lesson and now pick a basket and then go thru each individual piece of fruit or vege to check to see if they are bad and if so, replace with an undamaged unit and setting the bad piece of fruit or vege to the side so that others will can determine for themselves if they want to buy it or not. I thought about taking my business to another local farmers market, but since Cockrells is only 2 miles from me, I have decided to stay based on the extra cost of gas and time taken. Overall I would give them a rating of 4 out of 5 for their products and 3 out of 5 for customer service (this ranking is based on all customer service expectations and not based off of 1 or 2 issues).

I checked out this convenience store inside the airport because I wanted to quench my thirst. I purchased a cold Evian Water Bottle and also a cup of coffee. Both items were no more than $10 in total. The store was well-organized. It offered a bunch of items, such as magazines, snacks, hoodies, medicine, travel essentials and so much more. I also observed that there was a designated seating area, placed diagonally outside. There were charging outlets readily available for plugging in electronics as well as comfortable seating and massage chairs. Hudson News was quite nice!

Once ready to check out, I went to the cash register where I found Scoop, the store employee, sitting on the countertop playing on her phone & paying NO attention to the patrons in the store. I asked if I needed to ring myself up because I didn't see the self-serve kiosks. Turns out it was my mistake! I didn't look hard enough before I interrupted her perusing her phone. As I tried to ring myself up, (because that's what you do if you're paying via card versus cash,) the kiosk shut down and had to be rebooted! Scoop had to help after all! She reluctantly scooted off the countertop and fixed the kiosk. In so doing, she also completed the transaction to the point of imputing the card info and then walked away without a word. This didn't leave a good taste in my mouth, as far as a customer service encounter, but at least I got my ridiculously priced beverage for the flight!
