If I see an add for $20 boots at Rivers, I will jump right into my car and scoot on up to Mt Barker to try on a pair of these said boots.
Sad to say though, items advertised on TV just never seem to exist in this outlet, it's like this Rivers store exists in a sales league of it's own.
All in all though I really appreciate Rivers, it reminds me of the country for some reason, it's all reasonably priced and there's a good range of clothing available, more for mid 20's and up age group.
It's great for kids shoes, I picked up a pair of sandals for my niece for $3! they've lasted a month so far, which is pretty amazing for what I paid.
If you are looking for basics then I recommend rivers based on the fact that their clothing doesn't fall apart the first time you wear it which is always a bonus! and you're always guaranteed to find a plain tank top or a pair of tights when you need them, unless of course they were advertised on TV!! But if you're strolling past its worth a look in there anyway, even if its just for some peace and quiet. I'm not sure why but there something really soothing about Rivers outlets. read more
