When ordering them, the woman helping me was anything but helpful due to it being government coverage. 3 employees stood 10 feet away in an empty store LAUGHING as I was discussing these issues with the manager. Absolutely disgusting treatment. I was discriminated against and treated very poorly.

I came in wanting all-plastic glasses and left with beautiful, Bulgari, frameless, all-options, probably my last glasses thanks to Chris ... so happy with them. Then just months after their warranty ran out, I was being rushed by a friend whilst cleaning them and handled too roughly and broke an arm -- cost $500 yikes !! Kayleigh went to bat for me and Bulgari Co. covered replacement free of charge, thank goodness. Then this summer I wasn't going to take them whilst camping due to their delicate but gorgeous frame but decided to and broke an arm off when I placed them on top of my car seat. I was heartbroken but Kayleigh AGAIN went to bat for me having them fixed in-store. I am a low-income senior so what a relief. Like surgery, I found caring is so important after sale and Consumer's Optical is outstanding in my experience in sales, staff, and after-care. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I used to like this clinic, but with zero humanity, it feels as though its time to find another.

Ever since I got pregnant with my first, this is the doctor's office I ended up in and I really…read moredon't regret the blind call. The doctors here really are warm, friendly discreet and respectful. The front end staff is also friendly and they are accomodating. This is such a busy office and they do the best they can to get you in. This is my one beef with this office and that is the fact that they are soooo busy. If you need to get in to see your ASAP, making an appointment for later in the day or even the day after is next to impossible and you have to go as a walk-in. I have to admit this is disappointing, but you have to keep in mind that at this moment, Sylvan does not have an urgent care facility. So the doctor's offices in town take on that volume. I do think that that extra workload can make quality care difficult and thus this office is aggressively advocating the urgent care unit. With the population growth in the last few years, our community sorely needs it! If you really do need care after hours and can't make it into Red Deer, doctors are available on call. I did have to utilize this once and the doctor was kind, attentive and did not feel put out for the visit. Mind you, I did need it! I would recommend this office if you are looking for a family doctor. However, as mentioned before, due to the population of Sylvan, be aware that scheduling is difficult, but do keep in mind that the demand is out of their hands.

I understand them being too busy, the confusing part was they gave me a different quote and different timeframe each time I called. Maybe they didn't understand, but then I feel they should be able to ask questions or explain to me why they were confused. Finally 3rd day of calling I got an appointment but it was booked at a different time than I thought. Optometrists and assistants that help fit glasses were very friendly and helpful. But booking was a confusing nightmare. Maybe I talk too fast? Or don't know what kind of appointment I need. But I still feel they should be asking questions to figure this on their end.
