Because my need was outside of the norm, a receptionist assisted with registration. I could tell that they were new, as many mistakes were made, from entering myself in the system rather than my child, failure to ask for my insurance card, and having to repeat/enter information in several times. I appreciate the need to learn; however, at some point it would have been helpful for someone else to take over (eventually they did). Once taken back, the RN that assisted us was super kind and gentle with our son. He took the time to answer any questions that we had. The NP was kind and listened to our concerns. We were advised we would receive a follow up call, as of late (it's been 5 days) and that hasn't occurred. Overall, I was really pleased with my experience, at PM. The location is close to my home, I can make an appointment if needed, the staff are kind, the location is clean and they did a great job caring for my kid.

The staff was nice. The doctor was awesome. Compassionate, knowledgeable, gentle and understanding. I can't think of another urgent care I will take my babies. I'm glad they exist! However, her care is worth it to me. She's always thorough with any issues and makes sure to order all and any bloodwork or tests needed to assure us that things are ok. That matters to me. We've had three other pediatricians. She's been the most thorough and takes however much time needed with each patient which is likely why she's always backed up.

Best decision ever. We now have two kids in Dr. Ariza's care and have been with them for 2 years. The office is more of a boutique than a sad or scary doctor's office. Decorated perfect for kids and very inviting. We have never had to wait long and both the ladies at the front desk and the Nurse Kadera (so sorry if I misspelled her name!) are great. Kadera is friendly, gentle and was able to draw blood from my 2 year old with no issues! She's seriously the best. She calls the kids friends and that in itself is such a gift. Dr Ariza is literally an angel. Very supportive of me as a mom and my kids adore her - enough that we play "Dr Ariza" every day. EVERY.DAY. I ended up being twelve minutes late because i had both kids and couldn't get the baby out of a tight spot so had to switch parking spaces. The front desk made me wait almost thirty minutes to tell me that I was being denied a visit because i was late. When I called to complain the management basically stood behind that and said we reserve the right to deny even if you are one minute late. But no problem having you the parent wait. Cool cool. Ive never seen the same provider twice there very much a factory. We are at children's medical associates so far so good. I am willing to make the drive. Also considered going back to our DC pediatrician west end peds which is pretty good. The admin/medical records side of this practice also terrible. Playing phone tag with them to pay them to send the medical records. The cost varies by the number of pages of the record. Cool cool cool. I made the right decision switching!!!

Our situation required a follow up the day after. Although she wasn't working the next day, she made sure another physician took a look at my daughter so that the following day they'd have a baseline to assess progress. She also went out of her way to call us and follow up a few days later just to make sure things were moving in the right direction. I highly recommend Karen and trust her with our care. She was a perfect example of the type of care and attention to detail you want from your medical provider.

I made an appointment here two hours ahead of time and I was seen five minutes before my appointment time. I spent about a half hour in the waiting room after checking in, but I was early, so it wasn't a big deal. My nurses and practitioners were all kind and understanding. They kept testing until we found the root of my issues and made sure I understood the severity of my condition. They also kept me in care until my fever went down. I'd recommend this place to anyone in need of urgent care. It's not glamorous, but I was given the care that I needed.
