My nephew was married there this past Friday 8/22/25. What a beautiful venue it was. It was big and spacious and even had animals which were so cute to see. The ceremony outside was very nice as was the dinner and the inside where we sat. The bartenders Abbey and John were awesome especially Abbey. She was a fun-loving gal and just super nice. It was truly a magical wedding thanks to everyone there and family of course to make my nephew and his wife's dream come true. read more

The 120 acre farm with rolling hills, abundant history, and the cutest farm animals. I'm a wedding photographer from the local Dover, Oh area and I absolutely love working at this venue. The lighting is always amazing, taking photos here is almost effortless. The family who owns the venue are incredible people, they help you with every step of your wedding planning journey. They have SO many different places for great photos, The barn, the patio, the life size chess board, multiple hills to view the endless sunsets, and finally, the Scottish highland cows. Nice spot in the middle of nowhere. No air conditioning. Was there for a wedding in the summer and they ran out of water. The animals are in the barn below where the party is held Which I would assume would not be good for them due to the noise but who knows. If you are looking to have the best wedding ANYONE you know has ever been to, look no further. My now-husband and I were skeptical about having our wedding in a barn that was such a far drive (nearly 2 hours) from where the majority of our friends and family live. The night was absolutely spectacular. Deanna, Alex and the entire Rivercrest team truly know how to pull off a magical/flawless wedding night. There is SO much for everyone at your wedding to enjoy from outside lawn games, a quiet patio to catch up on, a crazy wild dance floor - everyone was so comfortable the whole evening and had the best time. Recently I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. The refurbished barn is gorgeous and the decorations were beautiful. She now has gorgeous pictures and the guests all kept saying how beautiful it was. We were even able to have her shower there as well which was included in the original cost for her to rent the barn. That having been said, the place is very poorly managed. When we showed up to decorate for her shower there was literally a pile of dog crap in the loft area where guests can also be seated (which we had to remove ourselves). The owners chickens, roosters, and dogs kept coming in and out of the barn while we were decorating. At the same time she gave several tours so any attempts we made to keep doors closed were short lasting. These "visitors" were frequently in the way and at one point she stated that she should have just left all of the tables up from the previous wedding because her "helpers" (referring to the bridal party) were here to clean any way. There were still dirty dishes in the kitchen from the previous wedding (needless to say the kitchen stunk). For the wedding itself we had to show up days in advance to scrub up bird crap (as birds are able to come and go and nest in the rafters). We pointed out the bird crap all over the walls and floor when we came in to decorate and the owner shrugged her shoulders and said "well it is a barn". The bride was told from the beginning that a cleaning service comes between events. (If that is the case the owner seriously needs to fire them). Overall, it is a beautiful (but overpriced) place with poor service and management. read more
