River is truly extraordinary, both as an artist and an individual. We feel so very fortunate to have found her and to have her record our special day with such grace, creativity, and soul. Over the months leading up to our wedding, we had the opportunity to get to know her better and enjoyed her infectious positivity and terrific personality. It is really special when such a talent is also such a good and caring person through and through, and this is clearly evident in every piece of her work. She was ready and willing to go with us on our fun journey during our engagement shoot and did an amazing job at capturing us and the interests we share. We had so many wonderful photos to choose from, and we knew we absolutely could not wait until our wedding and to have her there to capture every moment. River is AMAZING!! Aside from being an amazing photographer, she has the best personality that helps put you at ease and enjoy every second of shooting. We hired her back in 2011 to do our engagement photos, she then shot our wedding in 2012, and took family photos for us in 2015. I still remember watching River as she moved about in the zone taking wonderful sunrise ceremony pics and as the bride and groom walked out of their brunch reception releasing some beautiful colored balloons, River caught terrific moments.
