Her work is fantastic!!!! She captures my sons personality in a beautiful photographic style that is perfect for framing and decorating the whole house! :) 2. She is flexible with locations and was willing to meet us and walk through the woods for pictures! 3. She makes you feel comfortable and not awkward when taking pictures. I really hate having my picture taken, but love to have pictures with me in them, and our two sessions with Anna have felt more like a casual vs. a formal portrait session. Thank you, Anna!

Working with Crystal Artis was one of the highlights of my wedding experience. We actually booked…read moreCrystal before we booked our venue to ensure that we did not miss out on an opportunity to work with her. We chose the package that included the engagement photo shoot and a second photographer, which we highly recommend! Having the engagement photo shoot with Crystal allowed us to get to know her bubbly and warm personality and her style of photography as well as utilize those photos for our save the dates and website. Despite the odds (inclement weather and fast-approaching sunset), our engagement shoot photos were absolutely stunning and gave us all the confidence we needed (and more) that photos of our wedding day would be beautiful. Of course on our wedding day, Crystal performed! Her eye for poses, light, angles, etc is absolutely incredible. We were so impressed with the way in which she directed the shots to create the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. We also recommend her package including a second photographer because of the varying angles that they was able to capture of very special moments to us and because it allowed for more coverage of the wedding since one person obviously cannot be in two places at once. Choosing Crystal as our wedding photographer was the best decision my husband and I could have made in our wedding planning process. We highly recommend her and cannot wait to work with her in the future!

Laura Stone is truly a master at her craft and I am so grateful for the amazing photographs she…read moretook at our wedding! Her photography is nothing short of breathtaking. With her artistic eye and natural ability, Laura captured the most poignant and precious moments of our wedding, preserving those memories forever. We first learned about Artstar Photography when reading reviews online, and I was impressed with Laura's perfect-score reviews. More importantly, I absolutely loved her style of photography, mixing artful candid shots with more traditional photographs, and her unique talent for capturing the emotion of her brides, grooms and parents, and the relationships between them. I spent several weeks searching for the right photographer, and found no one with photography more beautiful than Laura's. We were thrilled to find that she was available for our wedding! Knowing that we would spend a fair amount of time with the photographer on our wedding day, it was also important to me to find someone who would make the experience enjoyable to all those involved. Laura is kind, approachable, professional and a true joy to be around. She took the time to get to know me over the phone (as I live out of state). She was very receptive to my phone calls and emails, and extremely helpful in offering her suggestions to my questions about the photography, as well as other details about the wedding. On the big day, Laura and her assistant arrived early to catch the first moments of us getting ready. Patient and gracious, Laura took our last-minute rushing around in stride and managed to capture beautiful moments of that time. She took incredible candid shots during the ceremony, and afterward, quickly took the family portrait shots our parents were hoping to have. Laura effortlessly worked with all members of the wedding party, from the teary toddler flower girl, to the goofing-off groomsmen, to the parents of the bride and groom, taking amazing photographs of every step of the day. Although Laura took nearly a thousand photos that day (literally!), I was pleasantly surprised to find that very little of our time was spent posing for pictures. As a result, we were able to enjoy our guests and the reception. At sunset, Laura snuck away with me and the groom to take some shots against the sinking sun. This was a wonderful time for me and the groom to take a special moment to ourselves, and the pictures were among the most beautiful of the day. Laura stayed until the last song was played and we left the reception through a tunnel of guests and sparklers. She and her assistant worked tirelessly to capture every moment, while blending into the background and allowing us to fully enjoy each special moment of the day. The pictures she took were absolutely beautiful; her work was truly above my highest expectations. After the wedding, Laura stayed in close contact with me to make sure we were happy with all of the shots and the incredible slideshow she created for us. We've gotten so many compliments on the wedding photos, and many have commented that Laura's artful pictures moved them to tears. Laura truly a master at her craft; her work is beyond compare. If you are looking for a photographer who will capture the essence, emotion and beauty of your day, Laura is simply the best you could hope to find. I could not be happier with Laura's work and strongly recommend her and her team.
