This little pet shop specializes in fresh, locally made (in Ohio) dry dog and cat food. They have I…read morethink 4 options of dog food (2 grain free), and 3 options of cat food (kitten, adult, and lean). They sell it in bulk, so you can get however much you want (a pound to hundreds of pounds, etc). They also offer some vitamins, hemp products, toys, and treats, but the selection is fairly small. The employees are always very friendly, and sometimes have their charming pups hanging out in the store. If you haven't tried their food they will give you a free pound of dog food, or a small bag of cat food for your pet to try. Of course my Great Dane (who is a super picky eater) loved their food more than any other food she's ever had! Their prices are quite a bit higher than any other dry pet food ($2.50-$2.95 lb for dogs and $2.25-$2.95 for cats) - I might be a little off on those prices, but it's something like that. They do offer a discount if you buy over 20 pounds of cat food or 55 lbs of dog food. My cat eats their food exclusively, but I supplement my dogs normal food with just a bit of their dog food as a treat. For me the price is just too high to feed a large dog, although I wholly believe they have a great product. They also offer free delivery to anywhere in the Salt Lake valley area (I'm not sure what the minimum purchase is).

Better than PetSmart!…read more We were referred by our friend who has a 17-yr-old terrier mix. At first we were leery and wary of a "school" where "students" are just starting out and learning. We love our little 6-lb shih tzu Sofie and of course want what's best for her. After some not great experiences with PetSmart (nothing terrible, Sofie just didn't like them and they weren't as detailed with her cuts), we decided to try USPG. When they asked us how we wanted her full groom, they showed photos of different face shapes, different cuts, etc. I am a visual person and enjoyed seeing examples. I wanted to keep the black on her ears and the white/black on her tail. The receptionist made notes of everything! Sofie loved them and her first cut was a success! They gave her a full teddy bear face and kept her ears how I like them (black tips just lightly trimmed), and cleaned up her tail. Overall, it was a very positive experience! Would definitely take Sofie there again.

I've never had a groomer that does as good of a job as they do and I never had a groomer treat my furbabies as well as they do! My girls actually get excited when they realize where they are where before at other groomers they have been terrified when they realize where they are. Thank you for always doing a great job making my babies look and feel beautiful and for putting me at ease knowing they are in the best hands!!! I would recommend everyone bring their animals to them! I can't say enough good about them!!! Thank you all for being so wonderful!!!!

Before we found our new family member at Goldendoodles Utah, I did a lot of research on the breed…read moreand then on the breeders. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha

I did a lot of research on dog trainers and ultimately chose TTDG because he clearly had the most comprehensive and valuable services around. And the silver lining...it's guaranteed! (It wouldn't be guaranteed if it didn't work.) I also chose them because when I spoke with Sarah on the phone for our initial consultation, she didn't try to push the sale. No pressure whatsoever. She just told me about her expertise, told me what to expect, and I was sold. My pup's breed is naturally independent and stubborn. And on top of that, my little fella had some big fears of kids and people and separation anxiety. We've been doing TYD60 with Sarah for almost two months and he's already a completely different dog, in the best way possible. At 6 months old, he knows how to walk on a leash, heal, sit/down/place for long periods of time, and he's much better with kids and less weary of strangers. Don't waste your money anywhere else. Ty the Dog Guy and his team know what they're doing and do it well. Thank you Sarah & Ty for all of your help and services!

It was super convenient to have the training tools come with the service as well as training videos to help us better understand the training process and follow up at home.
