RUN AWAY! Look at the other past reviews! every word these mothers have said are TRUE! I can attest…read morebecause it matches MY STORY WITH THEM. This was the first daycare I sent my daughter to at 1 year old. Things were going rather well and it overall seemed nice... Until my daughters teacher quit. it turned into a never stopping revolving door. I couldn't keep up with the change of staff. There were TWO RSV outbreaks & 1 ring worm... Both times my daughter got RSV which turned into pneumonia & she had ringworm on his leg - none of the teachers noticed it all day. Then I receive a photo through the app of my daughter asleep on the FLOOR not a cot, with no pillow. Cried herself to sleep and passed out. She got a black eye that day from a little boy who was playing and running, he kicked her. Athena and Tiffany both told me Clarity was special needs and needed to be evaluated because they did not think they had the proper settings for her. while waiting for an appointment evaluation, the daycare started sending clarity home sick 2-4 times a week. They knew my husband and I worked over an hour away from this location, I lost my job over this. Turns out, my daughter is not autistic. The owner is also a funeral home director. I just find it strange that an investor would choose a funeral home and a daycare... Polar opposites... They allow kids to ruin their clothes and shoes, does not help with potty training, way to many kids to a classroom.. It's a nightmare. STAY AWy

If I would've known more before sending my daughter here I would've looked right past this daycare!…read more Would not waste your time! The first red flag- The women in charge of this daycare was in charge of safe harbor daycare in old Clarksville before switching buildings & taking a new name for her daycare. While she was in charge at safe harbor "Two not One" but "TWO" little babies got out of the building were Roaming the streets until someone driving by spotted them, picked them up & drove them to the daycare where "the driver assumed they belonged to" & sure enough they did! The owner nor staff had a clue these babies were missing from their care/supervision! Fast forward to this new location & name "Brighter Kids Academy" it is not a new "lady" in charge. "But, the same one who barley ran safe harbor." She is not understanding of any situation nor does she care what you have going on! Their hours were 6am-6pm when I first started my daughter here & within a few months it went to 5:30 when COVID hit so they could "clean" when everyone left. But, they did their cleaning while kids were still there & left after every child was gone! The main reason I found a daycare that stayed open later because of my work schedule & the time I would be scheduled to get off & consider some 5:00/6pm rush hour traffic to make it to get my daughter on time! As I thought this time change to 5:30 was only temporarily it ended up never going back to 6pm ... HUGE let down. This also meant I had to figure out how to change my life, and my work schedule around to get to my daughter on time so she didn't get kicked out! BUT, with me getting off at 5pm & hitting traffic, a possible wreck, car trouble on my end, etc it sometimes put me behind a FEW mins tops which I was always threatened with a warning that she wasn't going to be aloud back if it happened again.. I'm sorry but things happen & some are not controllable! There was one time I had a blow out right by the exit I needed to take in order to get my daughter and my tire Blew out before I made it there I called the daycare before they were closing and let them know what had happened and I had to call someone to help me get to her quicker since I was stranded on the highway & while that was already stressful enough I was then told I'm gonna be charged a late fee $1 every min I am late to get her! Wasn't very happy but, I have to work and have to have child care in place to work. So paid the late fee & let it go.. Also, don't even think about being ONE min late dropping your child off in the morning of you'll be turned away and leave with your child and missing work that day! UNDER NO EXCEPTIONS! THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT YOUR STORY IS OR HAPPENED! I live a lengthy way from the daycare and there is traffic etc in the mornings & the time I'm scheduled to be at my job is 10am So I would drop my daughter off around 9:30ish since I do not live close to town to go back home and wait until my first client.. so there were days "here & there we were 1-5 mins late TOPS! We were turned away many times for being a minute after 9:30 which is kinda ridiculous in my opinion! My daughter was full time there & they got paid the same amount no matter how long she was there, what time she got there, or the time she was picked up.. I did have some issues with them before I started noticing they were nitpicking anything they could about me which I feel is why they started making things more complicated for me hoping I'd find a new daycare or waiting for anything to boot her out! The issue before all this i kept getting messages and called everyday or every other telling me my daughter was sick and needed to be picked up when I would pick my daughter up she was just fine acted her normal self did not get sick at all while being home with me and we had some back and forth tension about it.. The lady in charge is also not very professional as she will tell someone your business you didn't want it told to, she was go into detail about the things said etc! She isn't very polite and always seems "unhappy" doesn't seem like a huge fan of her job.. in my opinion! Fast forward to this week my daughter no longer has a daycare as they kicked her Out. I have been sick for a week now & made arrangments with my sister who told me she would pick my daughter up for me & didnt! my sister did not let me know she wasn't or couldn't do it I was informed by the daycare calling me asking who was picking her up because she was still there at 5:37. I had let them know my sister was supposed to and I was not informed any different & had been at home in bed "sick" so me thinking my sister had picked my daughter up this whole time she didn't or tell me she wasn't! The moment I got called from daycare I called my sister to ask what was going on, why she hadn't picked my daughter up yet, etc & I had to jump out of bed and rush to town to pick my daughter up when I arrived to the daycare I was told my daughter was no longer allow

The lights in the hallways are always dim or off completely. The photo is of the toilet that was in my daughter's room. It was like this for at least 2 weeks. A good cleaning and things could be better. My daughter has been at her new daycare for 3 weeks now and kids connection is still trying to charge us. Her attitude at drop off has done a 180 at the new place she runs to her room excited to be there and doesn't cling to mom and cry. Makes me wonder why she acted that way here.

My daughter has been going to Kids connection for about 6 months now and it is less than great…read more First we were put on a waiting list when I was pregnant and after a year, we still never received a call. We ended up going to an in-home daycare which wasn't our first choice but it worked. Once our in home daycare moved we had no choice but to look into professional childcare. Due to the proximity to our house, we decided to give Kids Connection another try. At first it wasn't terrible. My child was almost 2 when we started and of course didn't like the change. (What kids does?) To this day, she still grabs onto me when I drop her off and doesn't want me to leave. Not sure if it's because she doesn't like the facility or is just clingy, but I'm thinking it's the facility. We are starting potty training with our little one and we had talked to the teacher about wearing big girl panties to daycare. She was on board and said she was the best at potty training. When my husband picked her up the first day in panties, she was soaking wet and cold. The pee had even soaked her shoes it had been there so long! We called the director and told her what happened. She agreed that was unacceptable but nothing else was done. Today when I dropped her off, I told the teacher she said she had to potty while in the car. The teacher asked if she was in pull-ups or panties. I told her pull ups and she picked up my daughter and continued talking to the other teacher. This is unacceptable on so many levels. We are working so hard to potty train and the teachers seem to be careless when it comes to this. Also there were only 2 teachers in the class and what seemed like 10 children. I know it's hard to watch every single one at once, but when potty training is the highlight of this classroom level, maybe more teachers are needed.
