We had Frey work on our house on a fairly substantial remodeling project, and I would summarize the…read morework they did as excellent. The project we did remodeled a huge section of our kitchen and dining room building a second story even. They helped us through every step of the project. From the initial design estimates, to iterating on our ideas and providing feedback, to helping select trims and finish, and then building the entire extension. They were always patient with us when we needed more time to think about the project, but they were always immediately responsive when we needed their input. They are certainly a premium contractor, but for a project of that scale, it was not something that we could have ever hoped to accomplish on our own. It certainly made sense for us to pick a excellent contractor who would be prepared for every scenario. And that is what we got with Frey. With a project of this size, I think common knowledge would cause the average person to assume that there would be substantial delays and setbacks. but the entire time we worked with Frey, there from the day they broke ground to the day it was done, they didn't slip a single deadline. Their staff was always incredibly professional. The subcontractors that they worked with were top notch. You could tell that the people who were here working on our home really cared about the project and wanted to make it good and make it right, and they would redo parts of it if they weren't done correctly. we really appreciated the attention to detail. There were many times when I thought that they went above and beyond to help make the remodeling project go smoothly. Notably, they helped move all of our appliances and counter surfaces into our living room so that we could continue to live out of our living room while our entire kitchen was being demoed and remodeled. It wasn't work that they needed to do, but they were more than happy to help. If we ever needed to do another large scale remodeling project, they would be the first people we would call.

First experience, I was cursed at and given a lesson on what happens to dirt that gets rained on. This was quite informative although quite rude. I needed dirt when it dried not immediately. Needless to say I went elsewhere and was treated like a customer. Now the second time, I did not get cursed at and ordered up the dirt, which I knew would be wet again but announced upon order it had a weeks time to dry if the forecast stuck and supposedly that would work out fine. The day of delivery comes and no dirt. I call. Now this call goes about as well as my first experience, and I'm told I wont get dirt until after the weekend , as if I I were just now ordering this dirt that should already be in my yard because they are too busy. This is why I called ahead of time. Well I had sod coming in on Saturday so thank you very much for the heads up. Now its short notice for anyone else, but I found a way. I cant believe this business has made it this far treating day to day business this way. Never again will I come to this place or anyone associated to them. Found out they were also priced higher then anyone else, so there was a bit of a silver lining. Horrible business. Literally the worst and most unprofessional, unreliable establishment. Not recommended even in an emergency.

I just want to say that Slater and his crew really know their work! They were on time, The equipment was in great shape. He had the correct climbing gear for trimming branches high up in those trees. When they arrived, Slater discussed the job with us that they were going to do. Him & his crew were very meticulous about the work that was performed on our property. They were careful driving on our lawn, cutting down and cleaning up branches and large hunks of wood, also did a good job removing the stumps and cleaned up all the mulch, as well as replacing black dirt in the holes where the stumps had been removed! They also reseeded & mulched with straw. We had grass growing within a week and a half, and now you cannot even tell there were trees in those spots. IMO, Diederich Tree Care is one of the best tree companies out there! We would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work Performed on their property. The price is definitely worth the work this company performs. We already have another job for them to do for us. Deborah O.
