I liked all the Fall decorations for sale in addition to a variety of pumpkins. I ended up buying some local SC honey since we go through a ton. The pumpkin patch is small but mighty. There are a ton of different kinds of pumpkins which is great. I also appreciated all the photos opportunities for my kid. The one negative is that pumpkins are 2-3x the cost of store pumpkins. I did purchase a pumpkin but the large ones were way more expensive than I'm willing to pay for something I can buy for 3-4x less. With that said, I like this place and I'll be back.

They also have a great selection of local items in the trailer. Wood, tree stands, tree funnel (for easy watering) for sale. Lou was so nice and helpful! All of the guys were also very helpful with figuring out how to transport the tree. They put it in the car and even offered to put it in a net or tie it to the roof of my car. Live music every Saturday and Sunday. Here in the same spot every year. Will be back next year!

This is the outfit in front of the old KMart shopping center in Mount Pleasant. JCrew and Dicks Sports are there now. Just about any other Christmas Tree location is better priced and trees are just as nice. They leave a foot to 18 inch sprig on top to add a foot or two to each tree to add to the cost.

I didn't want to leave and had to talk myself out of making a purchase. I came strictly for planters, but man it was hard to resist. They have a cute little store with unique planters and other planting needs and trinkets. Brownswood is also a landscaping company and can supply you with everything to make your lawn beautiful. Everything about this place is a plant lover's dream and for anyone looking to spruce up their property should definitely check them out. I visited Brownswood Nursery for the first time and purchased several varieties of border shrubs in…read morethe spring and planted them in my well-amended garden bed. Despite proper sun and watering, withing several weeks one shrub started to turn brown. I brought it to the nursery when 3/4 of the bush was dead. I requested a replacement and was advised that I had over-watered the plant and it had develeped a fungus. I was further advised that they would offer a ONE-TIME REPLACEMENT, AT 50% OF THE COST! This did not sit well with me but I needed another bush, so I reluctantly paid the additional cost and purchased fungal spray to have on hand. Within the next couple of weeks, another shrub as well as the replacement shrub started to turn brown. I administered the fungicide accordingly, but the plants did not respond and died. Upon calling the nursery and advising them of the situation, I was told this time that the shrubs had been UNDER-WATERED and that they only offered a ONE-TIME REPLACEMENT. I have purchased many plants and shrubs over the years from other nurseries as well as at Home Depot, Lowes, and Costco, and have never experienced this deplorable level of customer service. If there is a problem, this nursery expects one to call with any issues so that they can give you the run around and BLAME YOU for the plants failure! I learned that Brownswood Nursery does not stand behind the quality of their merchandise. NEVER AGAIN!!
