Dr. Patel is incredibly skilled and professional and as a result we feel well taken care of as a family through his practice and team. I'm especially grateful that his assistant Kellen is so thorough, kind, patient and eases any anxiety. read more

Had to get a crown on a back molar. I'm 61 years old and during a cleaning the hygienist called in the dentist. She diagnosed quickly the issue and based on her questions knew a crown was necessary. Today they did the crown work. Both dentist and dental hygienist asked if I was okay during the 2+ hour work. Both kept asking me if this was my worst day. It wasn't and I appreciated they both were concerned. My worst day was 2 August 2006. That's when I was in Fallujah Iraq. I appreciate the care all these people have for us read more

I was genuinely excited for my first appointment at River Landing Dental after moving from North Carolina, where I had been seeing the same dentist since childhood. I scheduled my cleaning weeks ago and took time off work specifically for this visit. After completing the new patient paperwork ahead of time, no one ever mentioned that I would be required to pay for new X-rays--even though I have a recent and complete set on file with my previous dentist and orthodontist. As someone who has worked in the dental field, I know it is standard protocol for the office to request prior X-rays before the appointment. I assumed this was handled when I was sent forms and asked to confirm. Instead, when I arrived early and prepared, I was told I'd have to pay out of pocket for new X-rays. I explained that both of my previous providers have updated records, but they were closed due to the holiday. Rather than offering understanding or assistance, I was pressured and interrogated--even after I explained I might be pregnant and wanted to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure. The staff repeatedly questioned me about my pregnancy concerns, asking inappropriate and invasive questions like "When did you take the test?" and "Why didn't you put that on your form?"--all while continuing to push me to take X-rays, even offering to "double vest" me. That is not how you treat a patient--especially one who just voiced a potential pregnancy and radiation concern. Ultimately, I chose to walk out because I was too upset to continue. I was also told there would be a $50 rescheduling fee, despite the issue stemming from a lack of follow-through on the office's part--not mine. Only after I pushed back did someone "waive it just this once," in a passive-aggressive tone. Frankly, I have no intention of returning after how I was treated. Patients--especially first-timers--deserve to feel safe, respected, and heard. This experience felt rushed, transactional, and invasive. I hope your team will reevaluate how you handle X-rays, patient communication, and concerns around pregnancy and radiation moving forward. read more

Professional, efficient, clean, caring staff, updated equipment, friendly staff , great

Great dentist in Summerville. Definitely recommend. Tried a couple others in area and they sucked. Will continue going to this one

I had an amazing first visit with my Hygienist, Kellen and Dr. Jantz! Both of them were very knowledgeable and professional, and I did not feel pressured by sales whatsoever (which is very important to me)! The office staff was also very friendly and had my insurance verified before I arrived. The office was very welcoming and clean as well! I highly encourage anyone looking for a dentist to visit their office as they have multiple locations for convenience! I work in Nexton, but live in Mount Pleasant, so I can be seen now at either location! read more

Tell me how I've spent almost 2 k for 2 xrays and haven't gotten anything done to my teeth?

Great and friendly staff that shows they not only care about the dental part of your visit, but also care about you as a person and what is going on in your life. read more

I went in today to the Daniel Island location for my scheduled tooth cleaning with Pat. She's so good! I also had a brief exam by Dr. Ruiz, who's usually based in their N. Charleston location. He was great too. All the staff are so friendly and professional. I've been going here for 3 years and very happy with them. read more

Today was my first visit to this facility as a new patient. It is newly built and the office environment felt really comfortable and safe aside from being very clean and inviting. They have very modern equipment and the X-ray experience is on a different level. This full service clinic even has a television hanging from the ceiling. In addition my dentist was extremely thorough and explained what he was doing every step of the way. This was a big improvement from my previous dentist by far. I highly recommend this business. You won't be disappointed. read more

Very few people enjoy going to the dentist but River Landing dispels all those preconceived notions. From the ease of making an appointment to a very detailed work up and the best dental care I can ever remember in my 60 plus years of making dental visits. I went to River Landing Dentistry while visiting in Daniel Island for an emergency visit. If I lived here, they would be my new dentist. EVERYONE, staff and Doctor were kind, and knowledgeable! The assistant and doctor listened to me with care. I didn't feel rushed while sharing my concerns, which is a big deal for me. I have been fearful of every dentist I've seen in the past and not once did I feel that way while there. I knew I was in good hands. read more

Just went here for the first time & so happy I found them!! Just moved here and always tough find trustworthy and affordable new dentists/doctors. Took advantage of previous dentist film I had, instead of taking advantage of opportunity to charge me for new film. Staff & doctor were thorough, genuine and amazing! Also have the best of the best treatment options for all things! read more

Dr Stokes and Kellen are amazing. They made me very comfortable the entire time. Office is extremely clean.

Great and friendly staff! Best experience I've had in the Charleston area! Highly recommend!!!

Friendly, efficient, professional, and the office is very nice and new. Dr Stokes is great.

This most advanced dentist facility I've ever been too. The staff is very friendly and explains every step along the way. Didn't feel lost like with some other dentists in the past. The covid procedures couldn't be more thought through. They have somebody pick you up from the parking lot and take you directly to one of the bright treatment rooms which are accessible from outside and have their own air filter for the treatment. You can even watch TV while you get treated. 5 stars read more

This is by far the best dental office we have ever been. Today I took my 8 yo daughter in for an examination and she is normally very anxious and uncooperative at any dental office however the facility, atmosphere and level of comfort the staff provided were amazing. She was quiet and comfortable the entire time. read more

Great staff and Dentist!! Everyone is super nice! Very glad I chose Riverland Dentistry!

Dr. Zechmann is, by far, the most skilled dentist you will find in all of Charleston. She is also the friendliest. Her beautiful office has the newest equipment available, and is set up to provide an outstanding patient experience. Everyone is accommodating and kind, and no one is in a rush. They take their time really listen to patients and make sure dental work is done correctly. Dr. Zechmann genuinely cares about the long-term outcomes of dental work for her patients. I highly recommend this dental practice. read more

The staff was very friendly. I don't think I received the best cleaning I have ever had. No polishing, no flossing, and no cleaning under my implants. I also had a small filling that I was charged $291.00 for that I think is a little expensive. I probably won't be going back. read more
