I was so excited to visit this place and was hoping it was as good as I hoped. It was! I am hoping to make Idaho a regular trip every summer and if it is, this will be my go to place. This campground has full hookups. The pads are long. Granted, we only have a 17' trailer but it was nice to have a pull through (others are back ins). Our spot had a little 2 person table on a patch of grass as well as a slab of concrete (perfect for our chairs). The unique part of this location is that it has a pond which looks like it's just for looks but actually you are allowed to swim in it. We brought our floaties and just enjoyed the water falling on us as we floated around. The location has a community building that is VERY clean. You can do laundry here or play games. They also have showers that normally have towels but they were all used by the time we finished in the pond. Propane: You just let the office know, put the tank on your number, then someone comes by, takes it, fills it up, returns it. So convenient. In the evening it is pretty quiet. We had our bikes so rode around the park. Very tranquil. There is a donut shop about a block away. We rode our bikes to it on the next day. Before we left, the owner stopped by and I felt that I was meeting a celebrity. I had read her blog from the start to the last one so felt that I knew her already. Definitely make this your stop when in Nampa or Boise. Not a lot of shade but because the way we were angled in spot #38, the sun hitting us was not a problem. Oh, before I forget, they have a decent size dog park so your pup(s) can run around.

Think enough room for our 38 ft 5th wheel with truck parked next to us but not a lot of extra space. It worked for us however. We would stay here again. Location convenient for what we had planned.

This has got to be our favorite RV spot so far because of how new and modern it is. We had spot 117, which could easily fit 3 of our 24 ft sprinter van! So spacious and level! We were right across from the pool and playground / basketball courts. I appreciated the rocks at the playground instead of wood chips. This whole place is nice and maintained. Everyone respects the rules and is quiet. It's in a good location off of a main road and close to the hwy on-ramp, but across from a quiet and nice residential spot. I felt pretty safe. The showers are really nice too. We had hookups at our site. Will be booking again when we pass through Idaho.

During our stay, the spa was out of service for approximately 15 days, and the pool was closed for about 17 days. These amenities were one of the reasons we chose this park, so it was frustrating to have them unavailable for such a significant portion of our stay. The common buildings and facilities were often dirty and did not appear to be well maintained. It also seemed that many of the people responsible for upkeep were working in exchange for free rent, and the level of care and attention to maintenance reflected that. Another policy that didn't make sense to us was the required 30-day notice to move out, even though there is a waiting list for sites. Instead of allowing someone on the waiting list to move in, our site will sit empty after we leave, which seems like an inefficient use of available spaces. There are some nice people at the park, but overall we were disappointed by the maintenance, cleanliness, and management policies. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed and everything was clean when we arrived (although we couldn't check in on time because the maid was there for 2 hours past the check in time). It's a great place to stay on the north shore with a couple of caveats. 1) It's right on the main road. Invest in earplugs. 2) There is a leak in the master bedroom, over the right side of the bed. The owner was aware of the leak before we moved in (end of August). He called it a "small leak." Every time it rained, there was a shower over the bed. I went through a ton of beach towels trying to keep things dry. I notified the owner that we would need this issue to be fixed, especially before my partner came out to join me when we would need both sides of the bed. Despite MANY texts and calls and promises, the roofers did not show up until mid-October. Watching what they were doing, I could tell they were not fixing the problem. I let the owner know. Sure enough, with the next rain the shower was back. I let the owner know. The roofers never came out again, and the owner never offered to make things right. Luckily, we got a dry spell for a while, but in December we had a massive storm and my partner had to choose between a wet mattress or the couch. Not cool. 3) I had trouble getting the owner to respond to my texts and calls about the leak. However, when I had my partner contact him, he responded right away. (I am female, my partner is male.) So if you want a response from the owner, maybe use a man's name? This place was mostly good to us, but I would not stay here again.

We just returned from the trip of a lifetime to the big island of Hawaii. We booked with Live,…read moreLaugh, Love Travel because of all the great reviews we read but mostly because of Starr Brown. We were debating whether to book everything on line ourselves to save money or use a travel agent which we believed would be far more expensive. After exploring hundreds of options ourselves, then giving it over to Starr to help us, when it came down to it we got a much more comprehensive package with better hotels/condos than we found on our own anywhere and her package (for more days and more stuff!!!) was about 20% less money than doing it ourselves and at least 500% less stress. On the front side of departing there is always apprehension about what you are really going to get but when we arrived what we got was far more than we expected!!! She listened to every single thing we told her and made all of them happen...and stayed within our budget. We got the best hotels in each location plus an absolutely magnificent condo. All had fantastic ocean views. She didn't stop there. She made sure there were so many details handled like properties with no resort fees and low to no parking fees. Plus, she included the maid & cleaning service for our condo. There were ZERO bad surprises...but there were a few good ones. We also booked a helicopter and zipline tour both of which were fantastic. And the best of the best...she was our immediately available agent on hand within minutes while we were there. Whatever we needed she responded almost immediately. This kind of service, attention and care doesn't exist in most places. She and LLC Travel are the best. The reviews we read before choosing LLC/Starr do not give true justice to what she does for her customers. It is far more than one can describe. We will be using Starr/LLC for all travel from this point forward. Thanks Starr for a truly magical and memorable vacation!
