We've stayed here many times when we head south for the winter and back up in the Spring, the marina has fixed docks which is a challenge to get on and off the yacht, but the dockmaster JT is super knowledgeable and wonderful to work with The Manor itself has had huge revitalization implements that preserves the history of the property by now owner (wife's family built and owned this magnificent estate for years and now they own it back) This is an awesome wedding venue equipped with magnificent rooms at the Inn manor Restaurant food is good, not too pricey, craft drinks are excellent Highly recommend this place. Axson Smith Jr is one of the best man I have ever met. I called for help for a tow when hung up on a stump on ICW and reached Axson at 3:30 a.m. after discussions with insurance and calls all over the Belhaven area. He got me free with a little help and we made it home. Axson was over and above managing our needs to get free with his tug and help he called in. I will recommend him and his family, daughter and Axson #3 to EVERYONE, who needs help in lower Mid-Atlantic ICW. Thanks Axson and team! Hope to see you again on a northern trip! read more

Well, I have stopped here by boat for many deliveries going back to Asia and now Gentleman Hen-er-rie. This time I drove down and stayed in a beautiful large room over looking the marina. The room was Five Star. Beautifully appointed with even a deck with Adirondack chairs. Our "concierge, Hen-er-rie made dinner reservations for us at our favorite Spoon River then the next morning brought us fresh pastries and coffee from the town's gourmet bakerie. This is a nice little Marina with a beautiful restored manor-house, used for destination weddings. Manor manager Montana gave us a tour of the lovingly-restored manor, from gathering rooms to guest rooms. Rockers overlooking the river invite morning musings. read more

Office said they were open till 5pm and to call if we needed to check in after 5pm. We arrived at 4:15pm....office was closed...property was locked. Walked to marina and the boat dock manager had to make a call. He got us into our room after 20 minute wait. Got in room and had invoice and credit card info for different guest. Walked back to boat dock manager who then had to open office and get us the correct paperwork. I understand things are slow with COVID...but not being open during posted hours is annoying and frankly a bit stressful. May stay again and give them a second chance....to be determined read more

Stayed at the marina not the grand o'l manor and it was an awesome experience. I think it must be one of the last fixed docks to tie up too, but no issues it is easy to tie up. They have fuel, pump out, and beautiful showers/restrooms. But it is the staff that make the place extraordinary. They are beyond NICE and so so helpful. Lots of suggestions on what to do in town. Also FREE golf cart to get around with. Talk about Americana, Belhaven must be the poster for it!! read more

As a boater you always take a gamble on whether or not you will have an enjoyable stay at a marina. Here it has been very enjoyable. It is about a mile from the ICW and the rates are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. In addition to showers and laundry you get access to a golf cart so you can go into town. The distance is only about a mile but when it's cold and windy this is a plus. It also makes us want to go into town more. It's a cute little town where the people are friendly. Definitely will return again and recommend it to anyone. read more

Spotless bathrooms and showers, excellent fuel prices, golf cart ride to town for big Ace Hardware next to gourmet Spoon River Restaurant, should be Repaid and Chateaux 3 star rated Michelin...wonderful wonderful restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay and stayed an extra night. Henry and Eddie make sure your vessel is secure and check on your boat if you're away. The restrooms/showers are fairly new and clean, plus private . There are FREE high capacity washers and gas dryers available. Fuels prices were as reasonable as you could expect. The Manor has been totally renovated and worth taking pictures. Opening soon for special events. Three clean golf carts were available for use and are a lot of fun to cruise town or go get provisions, etc. Great place for a layover or to get out of foul weather. read more

We stayed 2 nights this Fall. What a nice marina. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Helped us tie up at the dock, gave great restaurant reviews and provided a golf cart for transportation around town. We're sailors and thought first of the free town docks but no way! The free docks are right in front of a huge silo of some industrial type and in the middle of a swamp of bob tails. The rate with our Boat US discount was well worth it. 2 giant yachts tied up for the night right next to us. Fun to watch the "rich & famous" come and go. We will definitely stop this way again and highly recommend that you do too! read more

Love this marina. Helpful pleasant staff, great amenities. Attentive and helpful on approach and docking. Stooped here southbound last fall and again northbound. Reasonable fuel prices. Hotel close to opening. Worth a stop. read more
