Took management 5 months to approve of switching out my broken range for one that works. Least of my problems. Then you have to worry about mold/mildew in washing machines, mold/mildew growing on the outsides of the buildings, dirty hallways and laundry area, and management that doesn't seem to care about what conditions you live in, as long as it doesn't affect them. There's also the smell of dog urine, as management has not taken care of the issue and allows tenants to break lease agreements concerning pets and their proper care and respect to the property and other tenants. People seem to get away with all sorts of stuff here, from leaving windows wide open (screens out) after they leave, which is a security risk, having parties outside in tents, allowing visitors to trash the grounds, blaring music at all hours of the day and night, drug use, and the list goes on. Sad when you have to start getting officials involved to get some of these issues resolved. So, if you have a problem with any of the above mentioned, do not seek residence here! If you have health issues or small children that can be affected, then look somewhere else for affordable housing! Otherwise if you don't mind the constant state of chaos, then this is the perfect place to live!

Campusview had a place that was even closer to my classes than the dorms. The price was reasonable for the location too. We lived there for 2 years and never had any problems. Just leave the place as clean as it is when you get it and should not have any problems. I would recommend Campusview to anybody looking to get out of the dorms and still be really close to campus.

Charged for dust on the water heater that I wiped off the last day of cleaning. Charged for drier lint that is almost impossible to get all the way removed. Charged for sun damage to the drapes that were sun damaged before we got there and should be expected to happen. Any normal wear and tear you will be charged for. They say pet friendly, but you better get every single piece of hair out of there before you move out or you'll be charged. Oh you removed all light fixtures and deep cleaned them? Not good enough there is dust. CHARGED! Oh you cleaned the stove top? There are streaks from cleaning it and dust. CHARGED! After moving into our new rental I can full heartedly say campus view was the worst to rent from. Always having to come in to do random stuff and always sending texts and emails out about stuff. This new rental we barely hear from our landlord. He leaves us alone and respects us. When we need maintenance done we contact him and he sends someone out when we need them. He even straight up told us that he doesn't want to take our security deposit and the only way he would is if there is a huge hole in the wall or something is badly damaged. He doesn't care about the normal wear and tear that is expected when someone lives in a place. Dust is normal especially in a crappy place like campus view. Should I mention how much mold builds up in campus view apartments? Even when we use the fan in the bathroom and leave the door open to air out. The mold was crazy. Especially by the windows. If you rent through campus view I feel bad for you and hope the lease goes by fast.
