They have alot of activities you can do here like the playground, basketball court, tennis court, swings, a nice trail around the lake and many ducks around. I even liked how the park have plenty of seats and benches you can sit and relax on. Overall this was a fun day trip and plan to come back here in the near future.

Only thing I will mention is there tends to be quite a bit of litter around the area. It would be nice to see more upkeep! Despite that it's not to crazy of an issue currently but I can foresee it happening more frequently. All in all a lovely stop on a cool day.

It's a beautiful place if you want to have a little party or a meeting or something. There's lots of places to have a seat, so I think it'd be great for live music. The neighborhood takes care of the plants, and the public works of art that are built into the park. They have trash cans out, so don't mess up the place. The variety of plants in here is quite remarkable, with lots of different flowers and fruits and vegetables that naturally grow in the area. The gazebo is nice, keeps out the sun and the rain. There's plenty of parking, just park on the street. There are no restrooms or BBQ pits.

This place has many places to sit and labels/maps you can follow to figure out where you are. They have a long pavement path you can walk on none I saw was at all difficult. Surprisingly, all the people that crossed my path was very friendly and kept wishing us a good morning. My family even pet someones dog and had a friendly chat. We walked around the Mitchelle lake. There was a fence so couldn't directly get there but looked nice from a distance. There was even some fruit we found that was interesting (don't pick them though), saw different types of birds, and behind some fence we also saw a horse and cows (I'm guessing someone's property sits next to the park). It was quiet and peaceful for the most part but anytime I find another parking area was a bit noisy with cars but otherwise not bad. There was also quite a bit of trash on certain parts of the trial which was sad to see. I would definitely suggest bringing bug spray as the mosquitoes were terrible on certain parts of the park around the lake. Overall it was a nice walk and nothing challenging. If I happen to be nearby I would consider coming back.

I cannot believe that in all these years (and I have been walking these trails since 2020) that no one has thought to create a small parking space across the street. It is a daunting walk facing oncoming traffic and people often jeer and honk, and Pleasanton isn't so pleasant. I just wish that there could be a little parking spot for at least two cars so that you wouldn't have to park at the Pleasanton Road trailhead across the street and walk all the way down there and then not to mention the uphill climb it takes just to get to the area once you're on that side. I'm sure by bike it is fine but when you are on foot like me, it is brutal, especially in this Texas heat and humidity. Please, San Antonio Parks and Recreation: improve the system on this trailhead so that I can return to my favorite spot someday.

You can still hear the sounds of the city as you relax and read or study in this location. It has been raining this past week, so it is very green, but the ground is not too sticky with mud. Tables are nice and well kept. There were ants as you would expect, so maybe a broom or something to sweep them off the table and a table cloth were in order, but Iade due. We are in their territory after all. I really enjoyed people watching the bikers on the trail and sitting in the shade the trees provided. There was some sun that peeked out and it didn't get too hot either. So, I believe this is a nice place for a little get together for the kids birthday party or just a place to get outside and take a few deep breaths away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio life.
