I called yellow cab last night to arrange a ride this morning because I had eye surgery and was told they would be here. And the Indian asshole I talked to said they would be here at 6am. But they lied to me and didn't show up. I called the same number this morning to confirm the ride and nobody answered the phone and they didn't show up. This cab company is useless and I would not recommend too anybody, they are liers and will stand you up. This cab company is no good. read more

The lady on the phone said she didn't think it was worth it to have a driver come all the way out to the hotel I was staying at just to take someone 1 mile down the road. An excuse might be made that it was early AM and raining, but mostly because the fare would only be $5, which they had done two weeks prior for me...nonetheless, it was the first time I ever heard a taxi company say it's not worth it to give someone a ride. read more

They only get 1 star because I can't leave zero... And really the driver wasn't bad. We were his first fare and he was furiously trying to clean the cab out when my daughter and I met him downstairs. Our trip was about 7 miles between the Heart Hospital and the regional airport. The cleanliness of the cab left something to be desired BUT it was a good way to get to the airport on time...until the cab broke down about 3 miles away. No kidding. The cab company is on the radio with the driver saying they would send someone out when they could. Is that 5 minutes? An hour? We have a flight to catch.... Our driver was very apologetic but our ride to the airport ended up being a nice woman and her daughter who pulled over to ask if my daughter and I needed a ride. They only receive one star because I couldn't fill out a review with zero stars. I called this cab company for a patient who needed a ride home. Despite repeated phone calls, 3 hours later, Yellow Cab still did not show up. Someone from our office drove the patient home. Another patient requested this cab company a few months later. We called and after 2 hours they still had not arrived. When we called for the third time the receptionist had my staff on hold for at least 20 minutes. While on hold, we used another phone line to call again. The receptionist picked up and immediately said she had to put her on hold. So we called from a 3rd line, the receptionist answered and my staff explained that the patient has been waiting for 2 1/2 hours now and still nobody has arrived. The receptionist said, "well, is it cash or Medicaid?" As my staff person was looking it up and trying to tell her cash, the Yellow cab receptionist started screaming and hung up. She then picked up another line we were holding on and said they have already picked up the patient. We explained they have not, we are looking at her and the patient has been staring out the door into the parking lot this entire time so she would not miss the cab. She said she will send someone again. 40 minutes later there is still no cab!!!! This place is not even qualified to be called a business! read more

(long)Well, this happened in January 2018. I go to school here and Im from out of state so I usually call this cab company because they are a few dollars cheaper than dave's and they have provided decent service for me in the past. I call them and they usually have my info i just usually have to update them what area of my school to drop me off,(that went normal), but one thing was forgotten, they did not ask me if I had cash or card. And they hung up before i could ask anyway. I prefer to use the card in this instance because thats all i had on me at the time.Knowing the drivers usually have invoice slips i wasnt that concerned. So a few moments later i get a call from the driver en route trying to ask if I had cash or card. I said card. He responds "I only take cash."... A little annoyed i told him something like "i only have a card." and then he presumptuously responds, "use the atm in the airport. Theres an atm in the airport." Willing to wait a little longer I said, "ill just get another driver" He quickly retorts "Im the only driver." with full attitude. So just being tired and annoyed, wanting to go to my dorm, I say fine. So i reluctantly use the atm.(1)im "college broke". 2)the atm is not my bank at home so bank fees ensued. 3)the minimum amount i could take out was $40. The ride is only $20)...... Ok so he arrives and puts on his genial customer serving show. Greeted by "you got the money, right?" I say yes. He offers to put my baggage in the truck. My larger luggage got damaged before I called and i "fixed" it to where i could repair it later. so I warn him not to pull from the top handle that just broke and to use the side handles and strap instead. I told him this three times whilst he proceeds to do exactly what i said not to do followed by "I guess I should have listened to you." So we're finally riding to my school and he gives me anecdotes of why he doesnt take card "Ive been had too many times..."(eyeroll) Anywho I arrived safely so you can have a star for that. River city, if your only cab driver for the day "only takes cash" please mention this to the customers. I called the cab company two hours before I need them, because I new it was cold out and they might be busy. At 12:30 I called and told the cab company that I needed them at 1:30 for an 2:30 appointment. The time is now 3:02 and still no cab. What's up with that? No call, no show. The overall cab service is just okay and the cabs could use some work, but the worst thing about this company is one of the drivers who really is inappropriate with female passengers, flirting, and pretending to want to have a relationship, then disappearing and leaving them wondering what happened and wondering if they want to use a company who lets someone do this time after time....he's done it to me twice now. His name is Larry Mortis and he should be fired for inappropriate behavior. He also used to let me ride with him for hours because he wanted my company, and he only charged me half fare when I needed to go somewhere. I'm sure I'm not the only one he's done this to and he should be stopped. read more
