I'm on my 4th house in 13 years…read moreand I have never had an experience as positive, complete, and above and beyond in every single way. Mark not only found us a house we love (something we feared might be impossible) but because it was his listing it was beautifully done, fixed up, move in ready, and fairly priced. Within a week of deciding on our new home he had potential buyers lined up for the home we needed to sell. With the timeline to sell suddenly accelerated, Mark jumped into action - coordinating an interior decorator, an inspector, a moving company, a painter, a grout guy, some carpet, and a guy to install it. From that point on he checked in with us often, helping to keep all the balls in the air. He went on to engage with our banker to make sure everything ran smoothly, stopped in on moving day to check in and be helpful, and hooked us up with some great people at HOM furniture. He even stepped in to make things right when we had a hiccup with someone we'd hired. When he determined the price of replacing outdoor lighting at our old house was too high he took the old fixtures down, took them home, spray painted them, and put them back up instead. They looked brand new. When I wasn't sure what new hardware to get for our doors he went to Menards and took pictures of the product and the aisles so I would know right where to go. Twice he helped us move some unwieldy items using his own trailer - once on Labor Day. When we thought there might be a bee problem outside our new home he stopped by to personally take a look. When the people buying our old house wanted shelves we'd left for them gone, he went right out to remove them and take them to the dump for us. Seriously. From the day he showed us our new home to the day our old home was sold was less than 60 days. And we couldn't have done it without him. No one will ever work harder for you than Mark Woida. If you get the chance to work with him or buy a house from him you'll be so, so glad you did.

    Kory was referred to us by our realtor. Our appointment was 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 8th. I received a…read morecall at approximately 9:40 a.m, telling me Kory was almost finished with inspection. I dashed over. Kory was waiting for me and advised he had concluded the inspection. He went through his report, shared a few stories about the seller, who is a policeman approximately 55 years old, with a young wife/partner pregnant or just had a baby. The owner wanted to retire from police work, was an avid hunter, etc. He shared the roof was the original roof, and we should replace it in about 5 years. Well, this is the first time I had used a home inspector (used 5+) as both a seller and a buyer. It is also the first time that I was not allowed to participate in a walk-through with the inspector as a buyer. When he finally took occupancy, some items should have been noted. Both bathroom sinks needed repair because the pop-up bathroom sink drain actuator arms are broken off; the whole mechanism has to be replaced. There was a broken handle on the stove, and the garbage disposal had the guard cut out. The seriousness of this issue is because when using the disposal, everything shot back up and out. This could be serious if, by mistake, a fork or any object fell through this unguarded opening, which is entirely possible because it is one big opening. In all the inspections I have been involved in, things like this are mentioned, noted so the buyer and seller may have the option to discuss. We contacted Kory to express our dissatisfaction. His response was he doesn't include appliances; he notes if they "run." Kory implied I lied by stating I participated in the walkthrough, which, as mentioned earlier, he had completed the inspection before I arrived. Kory also denied having a personal relationship with the seller. Either way, what he shared about the seller was not appropriate to share. I don't care that the seller is a 55-year-old with a "young thing"/significant other he has impregnated several times. Very unprofessional. I would definitely not advise using his service as you never know what he may share with the buyer if you are the seller or vice versa.

He found some small electrical problems that needed addressing and the seller agreed to pay for the repairs. Mr Scholze was friendly and reviewed all of his findings around the house and patiently answered my questions. I would use him again.
