Dr Badders has treated my knee and back pain since 2014 (until he left Post Falls Id. area in June…read moreof 2022). I had been struck by a truck, and thought my mobility was done. After going to a couple different Orthopedic Specialists for the knee, it was the same story. . . they wanted to replace my knee with the "newest and best replacement there is!" Approximately one month after the incident, one of my Yoga instructors mentioned Dr Badder's name to me, and the rest is 'history!' I firmly believe, because of his 'magical' tissue work with pain, I was able to avoid such an invasive surgery to my body! I can't begin to express my sadness and disbelief after learning he was moving from the city near me to another state across the country!! Dr. Badders has minimized the knee discomfort and pain, and the back pain is no longer an issue!! All I can say is, Dr. Badders is as REAL as they get as a human being, and is equally great about his deft work at healing!!

If you think all chiropractors are the same, please read this because I used to think the same…read morething until I went to Dr. Badders at Bridgewater Chiropractic in Post Falls. I'm in my late 50's. Years ago, my body started paying me back for all of the injuries I've accumulated over the years. Aches and pains were no longer occasional and had become a daily part of my life. Over the last twenty years or so, I've had multiple orthopedic surgeries and have been to numerous doctors, many of whom were chiropractors. When it came to chiropractors, the ones I visited in years past all had the same course of treatment: They would make "adjustments" to my neck and spine, which would provide some relief. The duration of the relief would last anywhere from minutes to hours, sometimes even a day or two. They all did their best to help me, but none were able to provide long-lasting relief. Then about a year ago, I was referred to Bridgewater Chiropractic in Post falls and met Dr. Badders. I don't use the term "life changing" often (or lightly), but going to Dr. Badders literally changed my life. Unlike most other chiropractors, Dr. Badders does more than make adjustments (although he also does those and is very good). After graduating from medical school, Dr. Badders continued to educate himself in an effort to better understand the reasons why people suffer from chronic pain. This enabled him to gain greater insight into the mechanics of the human body and how the pain we feel in our joints can often be traced to the connective tissue (fascia) which interacts with our skeletal system. With this knowledge, Dr. Badders was able develop a more comprehensive treatment for his patients than mere skeletal manipulation. His course of treatment involves examining the underlying physiological mechanics (fascia) of each patient's body in order to ascertain how the tissues are interacting with their joints and whether or not there's a problem with these tissues which is contributing to their pain. This allows him to develop a unique treatment plan for each patient which can address their specific needs, the goal of which is to provide longer-term relief from pain. In my own personal experience, his approach has worked very well. I was suffering from severe pain in my wrist and forearm and was actually scheduled for surgery. Dr. Badders asked me to postpone my surgery and give him a chance to fix the problem so that I could avoid surgery. I agreed to this, and he treated me for several months. Not only did he alleviate all of the pain, but it's been gone now for several months, and I cancelled the surgery. Additionally, he has treated neck and should issues which I've had for years and has not only relieved a great deal of pain, but also given me back a level of mobility I had thought was long gone. Normally that, in and of itself, would have been enough for me to become a lifelong patient of Bridgewater Chiropractic. But in addition to Dr. Badders' remarkable treatment approach, there is also an outstanding massage therapist at Bridgewater who's the best I've seen. Her name is Shannon Lee, and she has over twenty years of experience. She is a very caring person who got into this field because she truly wants to help people feel better. When someone is being seen by both Dr. Badders and Shannon, they communicate with each other about the patient and use a team approach for treatment that is very effective. Going to Bridgewater Chiropractic is one of the best things I've ever done. The treatment I've received from both Dr. Badders and Shannon has had a remarkable effect on my day to day life as a great many of my aches and pains are now gone. In fact, I've done so well with them that my wife is now a patient and we've told all of our family and friends about them. Ron Weber Coeur d'Alene

Rachel is genuinely one of the best I've ever experienced, and that is not something I say lightly. What sets Rachel apart starts with her credentials. She is one of the very few licensed massage therapists in this area who accepts insurance, and the level of training, coursework, and certifications required to do that speaks volumes about her commitment to her craft. She brings over 20 years of experience to the table, having worked everywhere from high-end spas to cruise ships, and that breadth of experience shows in every session. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the body, we're talking gym training, mobility work, stretching protocols, muscular compensation patterns and she can have an intelligent conversation about all of it. Her myofascial release work is excellent, and she has the strength to deliver real deep tissue work when that's what you need, while also being equally skilled at lighter therapeutic work. Most importantly, she listens. She asks where you need focus that day, she pays attention to what you tell her, and she adjusts accordingly. That combination of advanced training, genuine body knowledge, and attentiveness to the individual client is rare. If you're looking for a massage therapist who treats this as the medical and therapeutic practice it truly is, Rachel at Equilibrium is exceptional. I've been seeing Rachel twice a month for over a year now and have no intention of going anywhere else.
